Synopsis

Mio Sudo is an office lady who hasn’t had a boyfriend in five years and doesn’t understand love. Shuji is a consultant who hasn’t had a girlfriend in seven years despite being a prime candidate with his good looks and charm. The two meet at a matchmaking party, but Mio is immediately turned off when Shuji tells her he doesn’t have any interest in women. However, one provocative comment is all it takes to send things in an unexpected direction and sparks begin to fly.

Background

Otona Nya Koi no Shikata ga Wakranee! began as a romance manga by Tamami Katsura that is serialized on the ComicFesta website. The anime adaptation is being directed by Yuki Shiina with scripts by Nora Mori character designs by To-Ru Zekuu who is also credited as the chief animation director, and animation production by Ether Kitten. Like other ComicFesta anime, two versions are being produced: an on-air version suitable for all audiences that will air on TV and a premium version that will feature adult content and will be available to watch on ComicFesta. The on-air version premiered in Japan on Oct. 4 on Tokyo MX.
