Despite this name, he produces songs with other Vocaloids including Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Megurine Luka, MAYU, GUMI, IA, and v flower but he admits that he mainly uses Hatsune Miku. About the Artist

Mikito-P started learning piano during his early years of elementary school, but lost interest and stopped playing. During his 6th year of elementary school, he became interested in music, being influenced by the band, THE BOOM, and started learning to play the guitar. He formed a band in high school and started writing his own songs while in university.
Around 2007, his band disbanded and he took a break from music. He developed an interest in gaming music through Nico Nico Douga and discovered Vocaloid in 2009, which he began using since he had nobody to perform the vocals for his songs at the time.
He co-authors songs and helps with video production for events while selling his own songs and other CDs at "THE VOC@LOID MASTER" events. He has expanded his range of activities, including providing vocals for Furukawa Honpo's major debut CD, "Alice in wonderword" which was released on the BALLOOM label.
In March 2010, he uploaded his first Vocaloid song, "Confession" (こくはく) on Nico Nico Douga. Since then, Mikito-P has released several notable songs including "Sayoko" (小夜子) and "Ii Aru Fanclub" (いーあるふぁんくらぶ) and made his major debut with EXIT TUNES in April 2013. "Ii Aru Fanclub" was his first song to reach 1 million views, having done so at 12:11 AM on October 28, 2012. The song is regularly sung at karaoke and is incredibly successful in China.
In April 2013, his first major debut album, "I kissed Hatsune Miku" (僕は初音ミクとキスをした) under EXIT TUNES and contained 18 songs including "ii Aru Fanclub" and "Private Journal" (Hikoukai Nisshi, GUMI as vocalist). The album would go on to reach 12th place in the Oricon Weekly charts.
In 2018, his song "Roki" (ロキ) also became a massive success. The song, though sung by Kagamine Rin, is one of the most covered Vocaloid songs in Vocaloid history. In the year since its release, the song was covered over 50 times. In 2019, the song had been covered at least 20 times by various singers, including many famous ones. The fan-made covers have a collective over 70 million views while his official music video has over 31 million views.
He works broadly in the music industry, and has done collaborations with Virtual YouTubers, as well as anime tie-ups. In 2018, he was the lyricist and composer for the ending theme song of "Comic Girls" titled "I Won't Show My Tears" (涙は見せない).
Since his debut, he has released over 70 songs on Nico Nico Douga and continues to produce Vocaloid music to this day.
