Hatsune Miku Live Party (Mikupa)
Hatsune Miku Live Party 2011 "MikuPa"; 39's THANK's (初音ミク ライブパーティー 2011 「ミクパ」;-39's THANK's LIVE), was an annual Hatsune Miku concert that lasted three years. It was the first concert to be shown outside of Tokyo, including overseas.
2011
- Tokyo, March 9, 2011: Hatsune Miku's second solo live concert was held at Zepp Tokyo in Odaiba, Tokyo.
- Sapporo, August 17, 2011: This updated and improved version of the concert in Odaiba was held at the Sapporo Education and Cultural Hall. It was also broadcast to theaters all over Japan (similar to the previous concert) with an additional two theaters in Taiwan and Hong Kong. However, despite massive Vocaloid support it was not broadcast onto Nico Nico Douga.
- Singapore, Nove,ber 11,, 2011: With the success the previous concerts, a special concert was held in Singapore at Suntec City Convention Center.
The concert also featured other Vocaloids such as Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin, and Kagamine Len.
2012
On March 8, 2012, MikuPa was presented alongside "Miku's Big Thanksgiving Day; Special 39's Production" (ミクの日大感謝祭特番 ・制作日誌39), in a massive two-day event that took place at Tokyo Dome City Hall. This time, the concert featured KAITO, performing for the first time.
Miku's third overeas concert took place on October 2nd at KITEC Star Hall in Hong Kong and October 6th at Taipeishow in Taiwan. These were collectively known as "Hatsune Miku Live Party 2012 in Hong Kong and Taiwan" with two performances per day (per venue) with the final Taiwan evening concert being streamed live on Tokyo MX.
2013
On February 9, 2013, MikuPa was presented as a two-day VOCALOID concert at Sapporo City Hall, during the Snow Miku Festival which marked Miku's second concert appearance in Sapporo, her hometown.
Finally, "Hatsune Miku Live Party 2013 in Kansai (MikuPa♪) -39's Spring the 3rd Synthesis-" served as the last MikuPa event. It was held at Wakayama Big Whale, in Wakayama prefecture. The entire concert lasted three hours and marked the first ever time an official Hatsune Miku concert was held in the Kansai region of Japan. WOWOW collaborated with the event and was able to live broadcast the show on the WOWOW satellite channel.
