Characters

Kanon

Yuichi Aizawa (Voiced by: Tomokazu Sugita)
The first protagonist of Key, and the most unpredictable man. Though he is basically a neutralist, his brusque behavior can cause trouble. He is also the leader of the protagonists.

Ayu Tsukimiya (Voiced by: Yui Horie)
A compulsive taiyaki thief from a town where it snows. Apparently, she is wanted by taiyaki shops all over Japan. She has a habit of saying “Ugu.”

Nayuki Minase (Voiced by: Mariko Kouda)
A girl who lives with Yuichi. Upon meeting him again after seven years, she leaves him in the snow for two hours due to still holding a grudge against him from childhood.

Mai Kawasumi (Voiced by: Yukari Tamura)
A self-proclaimed “demon slayer” who wanders around the school at night. Because of a curse placed on her by Yuichi, she can only say “honey bear” and “full-bellied tanuki.” She quiets down when given a beef bowl.

Shiori Misaka (Voiced by: Akemi Sato)
A girl who is counting down the days to her next birthday, when she will die. She used to not get along with her older sister, but they have since reconciled. Her favorite food is ice cream and she never stops eating it, no matter how cold it gets.

Makoto Sawatari (Voiced by: Mayumi Iizuka)
Yuichi’s biggest victim and the one he had the deepest feelings for. No matter how bad of a mood she is in, she always cheers up at the sight of a meat bun. She is influenced by manga and has a strong desire to get married.

Air

Yukito Kunisaki (Voiced by: Daisuke Ono)
An unemployed, self-proclaimed street performer with no fixed address. Though an adult, he appears at the school as if he misses something. He is always short of money and sometimes collapses in the street. His specialties are puppeteering using magic and transforming into a crow.

Misuzu Kamio (Voiced by: Asami Sanada)
A lonely girl originally from a seaside town. Though she seems to try hard at making friends, her efforts have so far been unsuccessful. She is a good girl who helps her mother at the beach house Kamio on her days off. However, she is the type to push forward when she sees an opening and can also be troublesome.

Kano Kirishima (Voiced by: Sara Takeda)
A girl whose trademark is the large yellow bandana wrapped around her wrist. She believes her sister when she is told that she’ll be able to use magic if she grows up without taking it off.

Minagi Tohno (Voiced by: Ryoka Yuzuki)
She has a soft voice that lulls listeners into a state of calm relaxation. Despite her excellent grades and good looks, she doesn't have many friends her own age because she spends most of her time with Michiru, who is younger than her.

Youhei Sunohara (Voiced by: Daisuke Sakaguchi)
Tomoya’s best friend (or so he thinks). He is a former member of the soccer team. He is usually a slob.
