Alternate Title
のんのんびより のんすとっぷ
Synopsis
There are only five students at Asahigaoka Branch School ranging from elementary school to middle school. There’s Hotaru Ichijo, a fifth grader who moved to Asahigaoka from Tokyo and has a curious nature and older sister vibe; Renge Miyauchi, the youngest of the bunch who is a vivacious first grader who greets her friends with the catchphrase "Nyanpasu!"; Natsumi Koshigaya, a rebellious first-year middle schooler who enjoys playing pranks on her sister, Komari; Komari Koshigaya, an innocent and timid second-year middle schooler who has a complex about her short height; and Suguru Koshigaya, a third-year middle schooler and the eldest of the bunch who never talks and tends to blend into the background.
Even though they’re in different grades and have different personalities, they grow vegetables, catch insects, practice musical instruments together, and more. Every season changes the countryside, and the excitement never stops. It’s tranquil and normal, but it’s also funny, a little poignant, and heartwarming. This is the beginning of another day in the lives of these relaxed and easy-going students.
