Synopsis
There’s a rumor online about a strange phenomenon known as “Puberty Syndrome.” Second-year high school student Sakuta Azusagawa finds himself the victim of just such a syndrome when he encounters a bunny girl outside the library. The “bunny girl” is really Mai Sakurajima who goes to his school but is a couple of years older than him. Mai is also an actress, but is currently on a break from showbiz. The weird thing is, no one else seems able to see the bunny suit. Sakuta starts hanging out with Mai in order to learn the secret behind her mysterious appearance while more girls with “Puberty Syndrome” begin appearing before him.
Background
Seishun Buta Yaro wa Bunny Girl no Yume o Minai is adapted from the light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida with illustrations by Keeji Mizoguchi. The series has also been adapted as a manga with illustrations by Tsugumi Nanamiya which has been running in Dengeki G's Comic since January 2016. The anime adaptation’s ending will be "Fukashigi no Karte” performed by voice actresses Asami Seto, Inori Minase, Maaya Uchida, Nao Toyama, and Yurika Kubo.

Tomoe Koga is a first-year high school girl who is well mannered but sometimes thoughtless. She hides her Hakata accent out of embarrassment but it sometimes comes out when she panics.

Rio Futaba is a level-headed classmate of Sakuta’s. As the only member of the science club, she’s known throughout the school as a weirdo. As one of Sakuta’s few good friends, Rio also advises him on the Puberty Syndrome problem.

Nodaka Toyohama is the younger sister of Mai’s mother and was once a member of the idol band, Sweet Barrette. In contrast to her tacky fashion sense, she goes to an exclusive high school. Nodaka is also extremely confident and hates to lose.

Kaede Azusagawa is Sakuta’s little sister. Having been bullied in the past she rarely leaves the house. She loves pandas and her big bro and is determined to become the best little sister. Kaede also records the time Sakuta leaves every morning in her diary.
Shoko Makinohara (Voiced by: Inori Minase)

Shoko Makinohara has exactly the same name as Sakuta’s first love! A first-year middle school student, she’s rather shy, but is a reliable person and has a good heart. She met Sakuta when she was sheltering some stray cats from the rain with her umbrella.
