Synopsis

Teenager Giorno is a small-time thief, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have hopes and dreams! In fact, his aspirations are grand: to overthrow the head of a powerful mafia called Passione so he can finally help the people of Naples.

Before he can set his sights on the boss, though, he has to worry about his petty minions - like Leaky-eye Luca, who appears before Giorno to demand protection money for operating in the territory of Passione. A decisive battle between the two ends with Leaky-eye Luca in a coma, but also with Giorno fated for assassination.

Luckily for him, the assassin is a mafia member named Bruno who also has a desire to change how they do business in the city. In the end, Bruno agrees to help Giorno infiltrate the gang by inviting him as a member of Passione. Now, Giorno, Bruno, and the other members of their group must rise through the ranks so they can get in with the boss, take him out for good, and help the city in a way only gangsters can.

Characters

Giorno Giovanna (Voiced by: Kensho Ono)

Giorno is the human son of the vampire Dio Brando. He was raised in a tough environment devoid of love, where he was valued by no one and, in turn, valued no one. His family moved to Naples, Italy when he was a teenager, where he helped a gangster in need who repaid him with life lessons and protection. Afterward, his personality and outlook on humanity changed for the better. Giorno wishes to become the new leader of the local mafia Passione so he can have the power and resources to genuinely help the people of the city. His Stand is Gold Experience, which can breathe life into any object.

Bruno Bucciarati (Voiced by: Yuuichi Nakamura)

Bruno is the head of a small gang within Passione. Despite his affiliation with them, he hates that they deal in drugs at the detriment of the citizens, especially minors. This conflict of interest is why he decides to help Giorno in his quest despite the fact that he was first sent to assassinate him. Though certainly brutal, he has his own standards and ideals that he wants to uphold. He seems to have the innate ability to know whenever someone is lying. His Stand is Sticky Fingers, which can place zippers on any object.

Narancia Ghirga (Voiced by: Daiki Yamashita)

Narancia is a member of Bruno’s gang in Passione. He is sensitive about his severe lack of formal education, though he is certainly equipped with street smarts. He has a juvenile personality and is prone to lashing out at those who are not his friends. To his friends, though, he is incredibly loyal. His Stand is Aerosmith, which is a plane equipped with guns and missiles.

Leone Abbacchio (Voiced by: Junichi Suwabe)

Leone is a member of Bruno’s gang in Passione. Once a former police officer, his career came to a swift end after the unintentional death of his partner and the revelation that he had accepted a bribe from a criminal. Mature and focused, he puts their missions and goals first so that victory is always achieved. His Stand is Moody Blues, which can replay history as a recording.

Pannacotta Fugo (Voiced by: Junya Enoki)

Pannacotta is a member of Bruno’s gang in Passione. Though he is hot-headed and prone to bursts of violence, he also has a kind heart. Despite his affiliation with the gang, he is profoundly intelligent, full of promise, and logical. His Stand is Purple Haze, which can release a virus that destroys organic matter.

Guido Mista (Voiced by: Kousuke Toriumi)

Guida is a member of Bruno’s gang in Passione. He has a calm and laid-back personality that comes off as aloof and careless. He has an unusual and irrational fear of the number four. His Stand is Sex Pistols, which can control the bullets he shoots with the revolver he carries.
