Synopsis
Female office worker Ryo never thought of her childhood friend turned womanizing firefighter Soma in a romantic way, that is until one day when her apartment catches fire and she’s saved by him! Now with nowhere to go, Soma offers to have her stay with him. Can she keep her growing feelings in check while they live together under one roof?
Background
Yubisaki kara Honki no Netsujo -Osananajimi wa Shoboshi- is adapted from the manga Yubisaki kara no Honki no Netsujo Kyara Otoko Shoboshi wa Massuguna Me de Watashi o Idaita by Tanishi Kawano that was launched digitally under Screamo’s Zettai Ryoiki R! label in September 2018. Shueisha is releasing the collected tankobon volumes of which there is currently one published (as of June 2019).
The anime adaptation is the newest work from the ComicFesta website, and similarly to previous ComicFesta anime will have two versions: a standard version and a complete version that includes explicit content and will stream via the ComicFesta website. The standard version will premiere on broadcast TV in Japan in July 2019 on Tokyo MX and other networks. The anime is being directed by Toshihiro Watase with Tonbo handling the scripts, Katsuyuki Sato as the character designer and chief animation director, and production by Studio Hokiboshi. The opening theme song will be "Blazing Luv!!" by the Sakuragaoka Fire Brigade consisting of voice actors Kent Ito, Tomohito Takatsuka, and Wataru Komada.
