Synopsis
One day, a skilled adventurer named Dale finds an adorable little girl named Latina in the forest. The girl turns out to be a devil girl with an unknown past, and she looks worn out and close to death. Dale decides to take her with him. No matter what Latina’s background may be, he happily raises her as his own daughter!
Background
If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord is a light novel series that began serialization online in August 2014. It was created by Chirolu. The series was first illustrated by Truffle in volume 1, then illustrated by Kei from volume 2 and onwards. A manga adaptation launched online from July 2016 and is currently ongoing. Director Takeyuki Yanase and Maho Film are handling the anime adaptation, which is scheduled to begin airing in July 2019.
Characters
Latina (Voiced by: Kanon Takao)
A cute little devil girl who is so young that she has a lisp when she speaks. Latina has short hair, light bluish gray eyes, and two tiny horns on both sides of her head. She wears ribbons on her hair to hide them. Her background is unknown.
Dale (Voiced by: Nobuhiko Okamoto)
Dale is a skilled fighter and adventurer at the young age of 18. He has short brown hair, a silver gauntlet, and a sword. He can’t help but melt whenever it comes to his newly adopted daughter, Latina.
Kenneth (Voiced by: Tsuyoshi Koyama)
Owner of the Dancing Ocelot Inn and a friend to Dale. He was also a former adventurer. Now he is married to Rita.
Rita (Voiced by: Manami Numakura)
The other owner of the Dancing Ocelot Inn. She is married to Kenneth. Both Kenneth and Rita act like Latina’s aunt and uncle when he brings her in.
Chloe (Voiced by: Yūki Kuwahara)
The strong-willed child leader of the group of children who play with Latina. She wears suspenders and red shorts.
Sylvia (Voiced by: Marika Kouno)
A friend of Latina who is more mature than her young age would have you think. She wears a turquoise dress.
Rudy (Voiced by: Mutsumi Tamura)
A boy in the group of children that Latina plays with. He has short reddish brown hair.
Marcel (Voiced by: Yūki Hirose)
A boy in the group of children that Latina plays with. He has straight blonde hair, wears glasses, and is a little chubby.
Anthony (Voiced by: Katsumi Fukuhara)
A smart young boy and one of Latina’s friends. He looks level-headed and wears a sweater vest.
