Synopsis
Fifteen years ago, a mysterious hyperspace gate appeared over the Pacific. The world beyond the gate, Reto Semaani, is home to fairies and demons. In the present day, San Teresa City has become a cultural melting pot where migrants from each world live alongside each other, but like any other city there are the haves and the have nots. This is the “city of dreams,” but it is also one of chaos where crimes such as illegal arms dealing, drug trafficking, and prostitution are rife. The San Teresa City Police exists to protect the citizens from the effects of these crimes. Detective Kei Matoba and knight Tirana differ in terms of sex, character, and the world in which they were born, but a new story begins with their meeting.
Background
Cop Craft is inspired the Cop Craft: Dragnet Mirage Reloaded series of light novels written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Range Murata. The anime adaptation was announced on Dec. 29, 2018 and the first season will premiere on July 8, 2019. The first season opening theme will be performed by Masayoshi Oishi with Mayu Yoshioka performing the ending.

Kei Matoba (Voiced by: Kenjiro Tsuda)
Kei Matoba is a capable detective with the San Teresa City Police and a member of the Special Public Morals Squad. He has an allergy to cats but because of a set of circumstances is the owner of a black kitty.
Tirana Exedirika (Voiced by: Mayu Yoshioka)
Tirana Exedirika is a trainee knight from the kingdom of Falbaani in Reto Semaani. In addition to her sword skills, she is also able to operate the magic known as “Miltee.”
Cecil Epps (Voiced by: Fumiko Orikasa)
Cecil Epps is a pathologist employed by San Teresa City Police. She is also Kei Matoba’s former girlfriend.
Jack Roth (Voiced by: Kenji Hamada)
Jack Roth is the chief of the San Teresa City Police’s Special Public Morals Squad. He is extremely stern.
Tony Mcbee (Voiced by: Ryousuke Takahashi)
Tony Mcbee is a detective with San Teresa City Police’s Special Public Morals Squad and something like the squad’s mother figure.
Jamie Austin (Voiced by: Mai Nakahara)
The partner of Cameron Estefan, Jamie Austin is a police officer with San Teresa City Police’s Special Public Morals Squad. She had a weight problem as a child.
Cameron Estefan (Voiced by: Marina Inoue)
Cameron Estefan is a former fujoshi working at San Teresa City Police’s Special Public Morals Squad. She is partnered with Jamie.
Alexander Godunov (Voiced by: Satoshi Tsuruoka)
A detective with San Teresa City Police’s Special Public Morals Squad, Alexander Godunov is Tony’s partner. He is a family man with a wife and children.
Biz O'neill (Voiced by: Wataru Takagi)
Biz O’neill is a self-proclaimed preacher and informant for San Teresa City Police. He also owns a club.
Kenny (Voiced by: Volcano Ota)
Kenny is Biz O’neill’s secretary and bodyguard.
Zerada (Voiced by: Hochu Otsuka)
Zerada is a Miltee master working for the El Valle family. In Semaani years, he is already over 100 years old and even in this world is extremely elderly. He is a skilled user of Miltee and claims to be able to manipular 100 people at once. Zerada also seems to have a connection with Kei Matoba from the past.
