Alice Zuberg is a main character in the Sword Art Online Alicization arc and NPC in the Underworld. As a child, Alice's appearance is based on the character Alice from the fictional story Alice in Wonderland, with long blond hair, a blue skirt, and a white pinafore apron. Upon becoming an Integrity Knight for the Human Empire, Alice wears a set of golden knight armour , on top of a blue and white battle gown, complete with a blue cape. She uses the Divine Object Fragrant Olive Sword as her sword, a weapon crafted from the olive tree at the heart of the Centoria village, being an immortal object created by the Goddess Stacia, the sword inherits this trait, making it immortal as well.
In the War of the Underworld arc, Alice is recognised as a critical key for the evolution of computer AI, and the LightCube which houses her FluctLight is the target of the NSA. Both members of Rath and the raiding group of hired guns fight to bring her to the World End Alter, allowing for the cube to be extracted from The Cluster.
History
Born as the daughter of the Rulid Village Chief, Alice was one of two sisters. At the age of 11, Kirito, Eugeo and herself embarked on a quest to the Mountain Range at the Edge to collect some ice, hoping to keep food cold in the village during the summer days, allowing it to last longer. However, once they had collected enough shards of ice, they had lost forgotten their path back to the entrance of the tunnel. Unsure on which path to take, they took the closest exit from the cavern. Upon reaching the exit, the trio arrived at the border between the Human Empire and the Dark Territory, and in the sky above them, a battle between to knights was taking place. As the victor of the battle is decided, the fallen knight lands a short distance from the group, and with the last of his strength, reached out to them to signal for help. Alice, blinded by almost anything around her, started walking toward the knight, before snapping out of her daze to realise that crossing into the Dark Territory was a punishable offence under the Taboo Index. Unfortunately, she tripped over, while only a portion of her hand had crossed the line, a member of the Chamber of Elders appeared to report the infraction. The trio returned home, hoping that nothing serious would happen, but during the next day, Integrity Knight Deusolbert arrived at the village, with the task of capturing Alice, and delivering her to the Central Cathedral, where she would be reported interrogated and then executed. This was not the case however, while being told that with further studies of the Sacred Arts, she would be able to return to her village. But after two years, the Administrator decided that she was now an appropriate figure to become an Integrity Knight. Upon refusing to give into the demands, the Chamber of Elders was utilised to remove her Core Protection by force, allowing the Synthesis Ritual to be performed, locking away all of her past memories and given the new name Alice Synthesis Thirty

Kirito is her childhood friend. After being captured and losing her memory, Alice becomes the integrity knight sent to capture Kirito after he breaks the Taboo Index. In their battle on the 85th floor of the cathedral, Kirito challengers her and her views of the Human Empire, and succeeds into convincing her to fight alongside him - Eugeo
Eugo is a childhood friend of Alice. Eugeo thinks fondly about Alice, and dreams of resucing her from the Cathedral every day since she had been captured - Selka Zuberg
Selka is Alice's sister. After being captured, she sees herself the duty to fill the roll her sister had in the village, working in the church and learning the Sacred Arts - Integrity Knights
After becoming the 30th Integrity Knight, Alice would on occasian meet with the other Knights. Her closest connection was to Bercouli Synthesis One, who she gave the nickname Uncle
