Supporting Dragon Ball Super Characters - Dragon Ball
Here is a list of some other significant and supporting characters from the Dragon Ball Super manga and anime series.
Goku Black
Goku Black is actually Zamasu who killed Gowasu and took his time ring before using the super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Son Goku. He then killed Goku’s family and went to Trunks future to recruit future Zamasu.
Status: Fused with Future Zamasu and then erased by Zeno.
Zamasu
A Supreme Kai whose hatred of humans led him to becoming Goku Black. Future Zamasu, however, comes from a timeline where Goku is already dead, resulting in him wishing for immortality instead.
Status:
- Present Zamasu 1 became Goku Black, fused with future Zamasu and was erased by Zeno.
- Present Zamasu 2 was destroyed by Beerus before he could kill Gowasu and take the time ting.
- Future Zamasu wished for immortality, fused with Goku Black and was erased by Zeno.
Frost
Frost is the Universe 6 version of Frieza. He has all of the same skills and transformations, minus the Golden Frieza form. He is different in that, while evil, he hides his nature, pretending to be benevolent and philanthropic. He has a similar enterprise in enslaving populaces and funding wars for profit. Frieza, however, is outright in his evil schemes and does not lie about his work. Frost uses a poison needle to win during the Universe 6 tournament and is ironically defeated by Frieza during the Tournament of Power.
Status: Alive.
Ribrianne
Ribrianne is the star of Universe 2. In her base form, she is a beautiful young woman, but transforms into a large, overweight jolly fighter. Her speciality is ‘love power’ and she also has a giant form transformation. She was defeated during the tournament of power by Android 18.
Status: Alive.
Hit
An assassin from Universe 6. Hit is allegedly hundreds of years old and is capable of skipping time. He often has to hold back when fighting, as his attacks are all originally designed to kill his opponent outright. He manages to survive a x10 Kaioken Super Saiyan Blue Kamehameha during the tournament with Universe 6. During the Tournament of Power, he fights briefly with Jiren, but his time skip and time freeze prove useless against the monstrously powerful Universe 11 fighter. He is eliminated by Jiren.
Status: Alive.
Kale
Kale is a gentle and shy Saiyan from Universe 6. She severely lacks self-confidence and is constantly crying or displayed as weak. During the Tournament of Power, however, she is emotionally rocked and transforms into a Legendary Super Saiyan form. That is to say, Kale is Universe 6’s Broly, albeit not as powerful. In the manga, she goes berserk and eliminates most of the competition until fusing with Caulifla to create Kelfa. Eliminated as Kelfa either by Goku or Son Gohan depending on the version.
Status: Alive.
Jiren
A mysterious and silent warrior from Universe 11. A member of the Pride Troopers, Jiren works with Toppo to serve justice to the inhabitants of Universe 11. However, initially refusing to enter the tournament, he was persuaded with the prospect of the Super Dragon Balls. He is the strongest mortal character in the series. His power is higher than even the Gods of Destruction. Goku and Frizea work together to eliminate Jiren.
Status: Alive and creating friendships and bonds after meeting and learning from Goku.
Toppo
Toppo is the leader of Universe 11’s Pride Troopers. He believes fervently in justice and doing the right thing. During the Tournament of Power, he has a notable fight with Limit Breaker Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. Ironically, Toppo is also a candidate to become a God of Destruction, as he is granted God of Destruction powers when he is being heavily outclassed by Vegeta.
Status: Alive and protecting Universe 11 with the Pride Troopers.
Dyspo
Dyspo was a dangerous opponent during the Tournament of Power because of his ability to move nearly at light speed. A member of Universe 11’s Pride Troopers, he works with Toppo and Jiren to protect Universe 11. He is defeated by Frieza and Gohan.
Status: Working with the Pride Troopers in Universe 11.
Cabba
Cabba is the first of the Universe 6 Saiyans to achieve Super Saiyan. He does so with the help of Vegeta during their bout in the Universe 6 tournament. He isn’t terribly strong, but is a pure and kind person. He helps during the tournament of power but is defeated by Golden Frieza.
Status: Alive.
Caulifla
Caulifla is a Saiyan from Universe 6. She is friends with Kale and is the leader of a criminal gang. Caulifla is the second Saiyan from Universe 6 and first female to achieve the Super Saiyan transformation. She fuses with Kale to make Kelfa and is defeated by Goku or Gohan, depending on version.
Status: defused after elimination. Alive.
Copy Vegeta
Copy Vegeta is the result of Commeson; a liquid weapon created by the people from Planet Potaufeu, copying Vegeta and stealing his powers. In its original form, Commeson is a conscious purple viscous liquid that copies whomever it comes into contact with. Even Vegeta’s rivalry with Goku was copied, as Copy Vegeta resisted his master’s commands in order to fight Goku.
Status: Defeated by Goku.
Paragus
Paragus is the father of Broly. He and his son were exiled and ended up on the hostile planet Vampa until being found by the Frieza Force many years later.
Status: Killed by Frieza to force Broly’s Super Saiyan transformation.
Zeno
Zeno is the King of All -- literally the God of Gods. He is capable of erasing anything that exists. Zeno is rather tiny in stature and has a very high pitched voice and a childlike nature, but he is good friends with Goku, much to the discomfort of everyone around. After calling on Future Zeno to erase the future timeline during Zamasu’s attack, Future Zeno was brought back to the main timeline. As such, there are now two Zenos in the main timeline.
Status: Alive, ruling the current multiverse along with his future counterpart.
