Overall, I enjoy this figure. 4/5 stars. The sculpt for hair, face, and dress are good. However, the holes on her stockings which are supposed to show skin through it... the coloring in those parts of the "skin" don't match the rest of her body. The tears in her stockings feels more painted on than sculpted, so if you're nitpicky about realism then it's not the best.
As a fan of CLAMP, I got all the 30th anniversary clear file sets on TOM.
Happy with purchase. Just want to point out that you can see the watercolor paper texture in the printing of the image on the CCS clear file. This is neither a good nor bad thing. It depends on your preference.
I have no complaints. I enjoy CLAMP, so I had to get this anniversary set. Love that the CCS one is new art and not old art.
At approximately a dollar for a postcard, it's kind of pricey, but I bought it because I love CLAMP. Images are crisp and paper quality is good.
Very pleased with this figure. Great price for a decently well-made figure that comes with real fabric tights. I also enjoy the pearl color way, which is "brighter" than the original version.
This books contains mostly images of the girl on the cover in different outfits and poses.
Love all the different cute outfits. I especially like the pages that breaks down the outfit into each individual component.
Very vibrant, cute, and colorful art works.
Has a 90's style feel to the art. Nostalgic.
I use this as inspiration for putting together outfits for my characters.
This is a good reference material for drawing poses, especially when I don't know what to draw.
I have not read the story yet, but I'm captivated by the art style.
I don't read Japanese, but I got this one because I wanted the special booklet that came with it. XD
Bright vivid colors and a beautiful art style.
I like this artist, so of course I had to get the artbook to show support.
This is the Chinese version of Pixiv. If you enjoy the yearly "Illustration" collections, then this should be up your alley.
Soft watercolor style of pretty girls.
I absolutely adore this artist's work and I'm so glad they came out with an art book.
For fans of One Piece, I've been religiously collecting each art book that comes out.
I didn't get to collect the previous Sailor Moon artbooks, so I'm happy to get this inclusive edition. Do be mindful that the art pieces are kind of small in order to fit everything inside. For example, you get 3 pieces of full size artwork shrunk to fit into a single page.
Bold colors and bold use of line work in the art.
Cute girls with desserts. I flip through this for a little brightness.
Pretty art and the book is well made.
Chon's art work is really cute and colorful and I enjoy it a lot.
I use this as reference material for designing different types of school uniform. Very handy.
I bought this book because I enjoy this artist's work. Do not regret.
I like how each piece of artwork invokes a feeling of vastness (but also loneliness).
Love seeing all the different styles of rooms and different art styles too.
I bought this as a gift for a friend who is into the story and they enjoy this book very much.
I loved the colorful and fun art in the game so I bought this art book.
Detailed artwork of beautiful girls and backgrounds.
I bought this book because I thought the art style is cute and the price is good at ~$10.
Yukoring has a very beautiful watercolor style that is soft but also colorful.
I use this as reference material for drawing sailor uniforms.
If you're a fan of the game I would recommend this book.
I like the highly detailed 90's esque art style.
For fans of Seiji Yoshida who want to collect their art in one book.
I enjoy seeing all the details in the little rooms and house structures.
Cutesy colorful art with a soft color palette.
Very cute shoujo type art style. I use this for clothing reference.
Please note that this is a reprint of old CCS art and not of the new Clear Card art. Still, for those who didn't get to buy this when it was first published, this re-print is great. Love it.
Super cute art of the CCS series by CLAMP. My favorite magical girl series of all time. Very happy to have this.
Was very disappointed that I didn't get to buy this when it was first published. I'm very glad that it got a re-print because of the Clear Card arc.
Compared to the Cardcaptor Sakura Illustrations Collection Vol 1-3, I think this one has the most pictures of Sakura's various outfits, which I highly enjoyed. This is my favorite out of the 4 CCS reprint artbooks.
Got this after seeing the movie. Good printing quality. Colorful.
A hefty, thick book with lots of art. Good paper quality.
Packed full of art. Good reference material.
Very pretty art. Love the way the artist draws the characters' makeup.
Art style gives me a sunny and happy feeling. Love it.
Love the Azure Lane artbooks. I've been collecting every edition. It comes with a hard cardboard sleeve. Very good quality and pretty art.
Unique shoujo style art for reference.
Art feels majestic and wide.
Art has a ephemeral, slice-of-life feel. I like it.
Good reference for fashion items paired with kemomimi characters.
Designed like a travel magazine. Creative idea.
I got this for the bonus items, very pleased with the acrylic stands. Cute.
Eiichiro Oda's art gets better and better with each book.
For fans of One Piece. Very fantastical art.
Very colorful and cute characters.
The same quality and design as the previous 3 Black Butler art books. Good material and printing. If you like the previous art books, then you'll like this one. I've collected all 4.
I thought it was an artbook, but it's some manga pages, and some pages of text with accompanying images. I really wanted a full book of Hiromi Matsuo's art...
Cute characters with kemomimi, but kind of wanted more detail since it's a design book.
Cute shoujo style art that I use for reference.
Good for drawing inspiration from. Various different styles.
Art subject is cute, art style has an ephemeral feel imo.
I like the fantasy-esque quality to the art style.
Very worth it for the amount of art you get in the book. Good paper and printing quality.
I collect all the Granblue Fantasy artbooks. Each one is jam packed with art. Very worth it for the price imo.
Unique art style, good paper quality.
Very cute art. Vivid colors.
I think the movie is okay, not super in love with the storyline, but the atmosphere and background art is really good, so I had to pick up this art book.
Love the show, so I got this book and also the "Graduation Album" version.
Got this art book because I'm a fan of the show. Full color art on every page.
For fans of the game and people into background art.
Good paper quality. Art uses very bold colors and an almost color blocking style.
You can tell that the artist is very passionate about black tights. They're draw very realistically.
The atmosphere in the art gives me a soft and ephemeral feel.
Got this art book because I'm a fan of Yuu Minazuki's work. Full of BL goodness.
The art inside is very detailed and colors are vibrant and bright.
Art style is cute and the coloring style has a softness to it.
Lots of character design art, which is what I got it for. Don't expect too many full page colored art works.
I picked up April's month of Nakayoshi for the bonus goodies, which are 3 mini notebooks featuring CCS art. The paper on the inside of the books are on the thinner side and a bit see through. The books themselves are also quite thin with not a lot of pages. I don't think they're particularly functional as notebooks, since ink might bleed through to the other side. (Pencil should be fine.) I mostly got it for collection purposes. The art is very cute.
Wow, this book is thiiiick. It's filled with so much art. Great for Haikyu fans. Also makes a good coffee table book imo because it's so substantial.
POKImari's art has an edgy feel to it. Very refreshing.
I'm glad I managed to snag a set of this before it went out of stock. Huge fan of CCS. The print quality on these 2 clear files are very good and I love the scalloped edging.
After getting the original art book for "Is the Order a Rabbit?" I just knew I had to get this one too when I saw it. The art is adorable and so colorful to boot.
The art for "Is the Order a Rabbit?" is so cute and colorful. I'm trying to collect all the art books for the show.
I'm a beginner artist and have a hard time imaging and coming up with more dynamic poses, so this book is a good jumping off point for that.
For those who have seen the movie and love the background work and atmosphere of the movie, then this book is for you. This art book is a close-up look of the setting of the movie. The lush green and rainy images are very atmospheric.
The cover has a subdued color palette, but the art inside is very cute and brightly colored.
Good paper quality. The printing quality is crisp. The art has a celestial-like feel.
Not every page is full color. Some are just black and white art. It's about the size of a manga book. I was hoping for full color art throughout the book, but considering the price, it's okay. There's a decent amount of colored art and the b/w art is good too.
A cute Japanese fashion and makeup magazine that comes with a bonus eyeshadow palette. For the price, it's really worth it. The eyeshadow palette has both shimmery and matte colors which is nice and versatile. It's not super high-end makeup, but it's fun to play with especially for beginners or young teens on a tight budget.
Very good quality paper for this magazine. My Japanese reading skills are not that good, but I just like flipping through magazines and looking over the fashion and makeup trends.
Very pleased with June's month of Nakayoshi. I definitely picked this one up for the bonus it comes with, which is a Cardcaptor Sakura letter set. The set comes with 3 of each design (letter paper, envelope, note paper) and 1 sheet of stickers. Nothing overly fancy, but very cute. The paper quality for the letter set is good considering that it's a bonus item.
I love modern anime art. They're often really detailed and crisp. But retro art has its charm too. This book uses modern digital art to recreate older styles of anime/manga drawing.
The paper is glossy and nice. I don't read a lick of Japanese, but I love flipping through this magazine and looking at the pictures for fashion inspiration.
In an age where crisp digital art is abundant, the watercolor style of the art in this book is a nice break back to traditional art styles. The book is a non-standard size, so the spine sticks out a little compared to other art books I have on the same shelf.
I'm not sure why my dumbass thought this was a mini artbook... probably because I purchased the Horimiya 10.5 Official Fan Book, which is a small sized art book with a cheap price tag. Anyways, this is a manga and the contents are in Japanese. Urm, book quality is good. No comment about the story because I can't read Japanese. Lol.
Kizuna AI's birthday outfit is so cute. <3 Her pose is lively and the sculpt is nice. Really love the tiara around her thigh. The details of this figure are really nice.
This prize figure is more expensive than a Taito prize figure, but the quality seems to be less than a Taito prize figure. The sculpt is kind of chunky.
Really love the sculpt of this figure. The paint job is nice, but there's a bit of paint transfer in some parts.
Sakura-chan! <3 I absolutely love her in this outfit and pose. The transparent elements are very nice and the figure is well sculpted. The only problem is that the crystals in her dress are a bit hard to put in. You might want to have a barrier of some sort when you're putting in the crystals to prevent scratches or paint transfer.
Aww, Rem is so adorable in this outfit. I like the contrast of the yellow and blue in her outfit.
She's adorable and very well sculpted. I love all the ruffles on her outfit. She's lightweight and comes in a compact package.
Hikaru no Go was a childhood favorite, so I was very excited for this figure. The pose is very dynamic and the quality of the figure is good. The only complaint is that the face doesn't look the same in real life as it does in the product photos.
She's adorable. I love this new colored version compared to the original version.
Cute figure. I got it for my friend's Christmas present and she likes it.
To be honest, I'm not sure why I bought this figure. I'm disappointed in it in real life. The top looks like it's 3D printed and the transparent parts aren't very nice.
The stock photos are cute, but this is my first time buying a Sega prize figure and I'm disappointed in the quality and sculpt. I much prefer Taito and Banpresto for their prize figures.
Kind of disappointed in this figure. I like her outfit and that she comes in a set with Rem, but I don't think the quality and sculpt is really good.
I'm neutral about the SAO anime so I was never interested in any of the SAO figures, but I really love the idea of this figure. I'm a big fan of the pink idol theme. Her hair is more coral than brown, which I think fits with the color theme very well.
The source picture was really cute, but the figure execution is lacking imo. The figure doesn't sit flat. The ribbons in her hair are a bit chunky. The eyes are too glossy compared to the matte coloring of the rest of the figure. Not my best purchase.
The design of this figure is very good, but the execution seems a bit lacking. The paintwork is matte throughout, so it's not very interesting in that aspect.
The outfit is uniquely patterned. The part where the neck connects to the choker is a bit off, but not very noticeable.
The texture on this figure is a nice touch. The chain pattern on the skirt has a few paint defects, but it's not a big deal for a prize figure.
So cute. Love the primary color palette on this figure.
Really cute Rem prize figure, but I think it really only looks good from one angle.
Taito has really good quality for their prize figures. I personally think the hair is too opaque compared to the translucent elements of this figure, but that's a personal opinion so I will not dock any stars.
This set comes with two artbooks in a cardboard sleeve. The paper quality is really good.
abec's work is so cute. Glad I found this artbook available on TOM.
Very happy with the quality of this art book. :)
Got the first artbook by Lack. Love the colorful art style. So happy to get the second artbook by Lack.
The contents of the book is a step by step guide teaching you how to paint the picture on the cover with watercolor. It shows the supplies that Arina Tanemura used. In the front of the book is a clear file with the cover artwork. In the back of the book is a watercolor sheet with the artwork printed on it, so you can replicate her coloring process. Note that the text is all in Japanese.
Imo Taito has the best quality prize figures and this one is no different. Looks great paired with her sister Rem.
Very cute. Looks great paired with the Ram version.
So cute. I love the ruffles in her skirt and all the little details in her outfit. The base is really nice and harkens back to the anime opening song.
I honestly waffled back and forth on this figure a lot due to the price tag. Alter makes some really nice figures, as in I like the designs and themes that they choose for their figures. Their QC is usually up there too, although I've also heard of some people getting figures with poor QC. But anyways, I really loved the pose and all the little intricate details on this figure. She has so much going on in her outfit and her hair, and her pose is so dynamic. I'm really glad I ended up getting her, although my wallet disagrees. One concern, her pose might make her a leaner in the future.
I love her bright happy grin in this figure. The gradient in her hair is nice and the cake is cute. However, I just found out that she also comes in a reddish pink version, which I kind of prefer, because I like the contrast of it with her hair, but that doesn't detract from the loveliness of this figure. Also, the red version is not available on TOM.
Kizuna Ai looks more mature in this version of her compared to her default outfit version. I like it. Her expression looks gentle, and her outfit is more complex.
She looks so cool in this pose. I really love her short hair and the color palette of this outfit.
Quality is good, but the highlights are a bit lacking, especially in the hair.
She looks magnificent in this gorgeous kimono. Very detailed and unexpected. I also got the Rem version as a set, but honestly, I prefer Ram's face sculpt more.
She looks so refreshing in this outfit and color palette. She looks bright and lively and I love how her bangs are blown away from part of her forehead, it gives her a new and refreshing look.
Some quality control issues as in there are smudges on the figure, but I've come to expect that from prize figures. I got her because I really like seeing her in an outfit that she would not normally wear in canon.
I've always wanted a figure with two characters in it, and I ended up choosing this to be my first one. The price is decent for this pair and they complement each other well.
At a glance she looks very simple (probably because this is her default outfit), but she's very cute and her pose is so lively. She doesn't take up a lot of space on the shelf and her price is good for a 1/7.
A cute figure to display for Christmas. Also works as a stocking stuffer!
I just love the primary colors on her, and her face is so cute.
She's gorgeous and huge! So glad I managed to pick her up on a re-run to complete the set.
A cute decorative and soft cat plushie. I got the fuku fuku-nyan version. The body is soft. The hands are firm and sewn in place. The feet is made of felt.
Such a cute little dumpling! He's a very vibrant and fun yellow color, but not blinding highlighter yellow, which is good.
The earthy tones of this figure means that it doesn't pop out as much, but it's something different. There's a very calm feel to this figure that I enjoy.
Her head is a bit oversized in my opinion, but I really love her dress. The silver designs on the black dress really pop and looks polish.
Really nice Archer figure. Strong pose. Details on his pants and weapons are spot on. I like that he has an alternative head part to change up the hair style.
Hatake Kakashi in his black ops outfit. Spiky hair is always hard to do. Love the folds in his clothes and the details in the tree branch.
There are so many To Love-Ru figures out there that are too over the top with their poses. This subtler posing makes her infinitely sexier IMO. I just had to get her. Her hair and oil slick outfit also look very good in this figure.
It's really nice to see Saber in pastel colors. Her kimono is very pretty and the sculpting gives the figure slight movement as if lifted by a gentle breeze.
This figure has a quiet and mystic feel to it. The base is so unique. I really like it.
Love the purple and gold color theme and the gradients in her clothes.
I've been wanting a Godoka figure, and this one is just plain gorgeous. Most Godoka figures are serene or powerful, but this one has a more playful air to it. Very cute.
I was looking for this version of Momohime and I'm glad I found her on TOM. The other color variant is more pink and blue, but for a name like Momohime, I really think the peach and green color palette is more fitting. I also like her base a lot. It's not just a plain flat piece of (usually white) plastic. It's compact and detailed, with a theme and motif that fits the figure.
She's a very different type of Hatsune Miku figure. She's so serene and captured me at first glance, so I added her to my cart. Love the swirling effect of her hair and ribbon that looks like smoke.
I finally got her and she's so cute. I couldn't get the original color version in time, but this re-colored one also has a very cute color palette.
As the title of this book states, this book is more like a glimpse behind the scenes of rough sketches and such of the artist. If you want full blown colored art work then skip this, but for those who enjoy looking at unrefined pieces of art then this one is for you.
This books features black and white sketches of girls on a pale blue background. I was hoping for more works in progress types of sketches so I can view how the artist conceptualizes and plans art pieces, but that's not this book.
The actual cover of the book is actually different from the one pictured. It's still a black and white sketch (on a pale blue background), and the title lettering is gold.
This Rem is absolutely gorgeous in her yukata. Price is on the higher end, but I waited for her to go on sale, so I felt like it was worth it. Love the fish in the clear bag; looks very realistic, and the slight sway of the bag, along with the flow of her obi ribbon really makes it look she is in motion. Her kanzashi is so beautiful. If I'm not mistaken I think it's a peony and just looks so good in my opinion. Her base is very simple, nothing much to gush about, but if the base is going to be simple, then I think this kind where it is small and at least colored (not white) is good.
I've seen other sakura Miku prize figures, but I think this one by Taito really is the best in terms of posing, material, and color. There's a very pretty gradation in her hair from pink to clear pink, her pose is cute yet lively, and her base is a clear pink sakura blossom. I love the base so much. Didn't expect such a nice base from a prize figure.
I almost skipped over this one because the product picture didn't capture my attention right away. But I happened to see photos of this figure elsewhere and realized how cute and colorful it was, so I picked it up on TOM when it went back in stock. So happy I managed to snag one for myself. She's a super adorable figure at a low price point. And for a prize figure she has so many fun details, such as the Easter egg heels of her shoes.
I pre-ordered this pretty art book. The size is standard. At 144 pages it's not super hefty. The art style and color palette is pretty and soft.
I got the previous three books of the Granblue Fantasy Graphic Archive series, so I just had to pick up the fourth one when I saw it on sale on TOM. This is a hefty art book with lots of colored art work.
This figure got delayed for two months before it finally arrived on my doorstep, but I'm really happy with the figure in real life. The brown and pink color theme is adorable.
She's very adorable. Once I settled on getting this figure I knew I had to get her white counterpart (the Cu‐Poche Friends White Fox Spirit). They look so good as a pair.
I didn't know about cu-poche figures until recently. By the time I got into them, this figure was already sold out everywhere else. I'm so glad it came back in stock and I managed to nab one of the last two figures.
A very nice collaboration figure. She's very sexy and I like the base.
She's a very different style of figure from the ones I usually get. Her face is more realistic, but she's very pretty IRL. Take care when putting in the lance.
It's hard to find Sakura-chan figures in her non-pink outfits, so I just had to snatch this one up. Wonderful figure for the price.
Yae Sakura is absolutely stunning in this figure. I love the unique sand garden base. I don't often find such intricate bases on figures that I love.
A very cute Sakura-chan figure. Minor defects, but easily overlooked due to the cheap price.
Super gorgeous. She's everything I imagined she would be. I just lover her starry bodice and long ribbon in the back. The color scheme is so sophisticated.
Super cute little figures. They're inarticulate, but so intricate for their small size.
Compared to all the other art books I own, this book is on the thinner end, but the quality of the book is great and it's chock full of cute art. There is one page of black and white line art in the back and two pages on the making of the cover art. Underneath the dust jacket, the cover is a simple white with text and tiny border designs.
Book arrived to me in good condition. Underneath the dust jacket is a picture of Kero.
This book came in great condition and also shrink wrapped. No dents or scratches.
The contents of this book are as follows:
P6 - ART WORKS (Part 1)
P73 - MAKING
P97 - SKETCH BOOK
P113 - ARTS WORKS (Part 2)
P185 - INTERVIEW
A large part of this book is dedicated to showing En Morikura's art. There's a brief section explaining how the digital art process for one of the artworks is done, followed by a black and white section of sketches, and at the end of the book is an interview portion (in Japanese) with the artist.
If you get the first press edition it comes with a bonus postcard that shows a girl in a white sundress and wide brim hat. The card is good quality and has a faint gloss to it, but it's not exactly photo paper.

The print on this dress looks very pretty and romantic in person. The fabric is quality and thick, good for cooler spring weather.
The material looks very warm and cozy in person. It will be good for cooler weather when you still want to wear something cute but practical for the season.
I've come to realize this about art books published under PIE International, they're all very soft and flexible books. This can be good or bad depending on your preference, but I'm always afraid of humidity warping these types of book. It doesn't affect the art inside though, and the art in this book is gorgeous. There are many two page spreads of highly detailed scenery. Despite the soft quality of this book, it cannot be laid flat, so some details where the page meets the spine will still be obscured. The art goes right up to the edges of the paper so I'm so glad that this book didn't get busted during shipping, which has happened before, no matter how well pr...Read more
It's not very visible in the stock photos but there are embossed transparent parts on the cover of the letter "b." I can't say it adds much to the cover as it is hard to see at a glance even in person, but it's an interesting touch and gives the cover more dimension when you're looking carefully. Beneath the melon pink dust jacket is a mustard yellow cover with a white silhouette of the girl on the cover. This is a nice hefty artbook and has a good amount of art in it. The paper is good quality too.
I got the Sakura Kinomoto figma, so of course I had to get her friend to go with her. Nice articulation in the joints. A good figure overall.
Sakura-chan is so cute and so is the Kero-chan that comes with it. I got Sakura both as a figma and as a figuarts. I think the figma version is more delicate and less chunky which fits the theme of the series and character better.
Great art book. It comes in a sleeve to hold both items, which is very neat.
OMG, this was the figure that got me into figure collecting! I can't believe they did a re-run. Instant buy.
This set is really cute. Love the stationery and the stickers. However the smaller envelopes are so small that they're not very practical or functional. So despite my love for the series I have to deduct a star for this product for lack of practicality.
I got overexcited when I heard about the CCS Clear Card arc, so I nabbed this deluxe edition when I heard about it. Truthfully, the concept is cute, but not very practical. I imagine this would be an amazing set for a younger demographic, but it's not quite for me. On a side note, I like how these covers match the Nakayoshi version of the original CCS, so they would look very nice together on the bookshelf.
My second Hakuoki art book. There's so many books for this series, I think I better stop here. Really like the subdued color palette of this book. Gives it a more gritty and realistic feel.
This book has art for a cell phone game. The game concept seems a little strange, but the art work is very nice.
Eiichiro Oda's art gets more and more imaginative with each color walk book.
I am steadily collecting all the One Piece art books.
Part art book and part how-to book guiding the reader through the process of a watercolor painting.
There are so many Hakuoki art books out there, but I decided to settle on this one.
The characters designs in this game is so gorgeous. I'm happy to own this book.
As the title of this book suggests, the first half of this book is a visual collection with lots of colorful images. The second half seems to be a guide to the game. It's written all in Japanese so I don't understand it, but I bought this book for the pictures.
This is a doujinshi art book with really cute and colorful characters inside. The cover reminded me of Madoka and Homura, so I bought it.
Shiho Enta's semi-realistic depiction of people, especially girls, is really beautiful. Although this seems to be a self-published book as it is on the thinner side.
I really enjoy the design of this cover for Cardcaptor Sakura. It has a very soft and gentle feel to it.
This book features cute girls (mostly) with busty chest in fancy dresses.
Nice art book. Recommend for fans of Kazuya Minekura's art.
I originally ordered this skirt in white, but due to some trouble with the shipping service, it was somehow returned to sender, so I ended up ordering this skirt again in pink. It's very pretty, feminine, and lacy.
I got this sticker set to go along with my Kiki's Delivery Service 2017 Character Schedule Book.
A very cute and practical schedule book. It's got a monthly and a weekly section. There's a very high quality loop in the back of the cover for putting a pen in it, but I find that it messes with the flatness of the pages when I'm writing so I took it out. The cover is a very nice and durable material. The picture of Gigi is embroidered on, very detailed.
The title may be a bit misleading. These are not envelopes for writing letters. They're the size of "red envelopes." The type that you put money in to give to children during New Years. They're really cute though, and I'm sure children would love to receive money in this.
Super cute Kirby letter set. I bought this to write to a friend who loves Kirby. The sets come in thick plastic zip-loc bags for storage and protection.
I got this masking tape in all the available styles. They're cute and the quality is good. It doesn't leave a sticky residue on the page.
I got both the pink and blue version for a variety of cute stationery designs. This is a good size for letter writing.
515M's art is so unique. Thin as this book may be, it holds a special place in my collection.
Uber cute girls in a self-published book by Konno Kengo.
A nice little doujinshi art book by Hotaru Takeda.
Really gorgeous full page color art work. Imo the characters in here look cute yet mature at the same time. Fyi this is a self-published book so it is rather thin.
I really like the Arabian-esque theme art of this book.
I got this stacking set of Kirbys for my friend who is a big fan of the character. She's very pleased with her gift.
A very cute blouse to pair with my skirts. I got the white version. The white leans towards creamy white, which is a warmer tone. Just an fyi for when you're coordinating this top with bottoms.
I got this in pink. It's very girly and cute. I am 5'5" and about 120 lbs. This top fits well enough. The "corset" looking part where you lace it up feels a little tight, but doesn't hinder me in any way.
I love seeing all the different designs of the flower knight girls. There's a fold out poster in the front and a small section in the back with concept art images and Japanese text that I can't read. >.<
These postcards are gorgeous. I loved vol. 1 of this so much that I had to get vol. 2 too. The quality of these cards are nice and thick.
These postcards are so cute and beautiful. I fell in love with vol. 1 so I had to pick up vol. 2 when I saw it.
There are so many designs and different characters. Also very colorful. Love it.
This book has quite a lot of concept art and sketches. There are also pages with thumbnails of the settings. A good book for reference and looking behind the scenes, if that's what you prefer. There are a few full page artworks in the front, scenes from the game, and chibi characters. I feel like there's a bit of everything in here. I personally prefer more full page art, but I won't dock a star for that as that is personal preference.
Love the vivid colors of this book and the abundance of cute girl characters.
Very cute, pink, and pastel.
Lovely artwork. The color palette and art style makes this a very calming book for me to flip through. There's a section of black and white art in the back of the book, which takes up about 1/4 of the pages. This book is smaller in size than other art books, but it has a lot of pages. The dust jacket has an interesting texture, it kind of looks like woven cloth.
Gaah, I love One Piece! The art in here is so colorful.
A small little self-published book featuring cute girls.
I got Fantasia which was the first artbook for Fairy Tail, so naturally I had to get Harvest, too. If you liked Fantasia then you'll like Harvest, because Mashima's art gets progressively better.
A collection of artwork by different artist on pixiv along with their handles. This is a good book to browse through if you're looking to find new artists to follow.
Contains artwork from various series by Hinako Takanaga. Pretty art with a gentle color palette.
This is a soft-cover book. It opens landscape style as opposed to portrait style like most artbooks.
Out of all the Sebastian figures I've seen, I like this one best for its display value. It definitely looks like a statement piece and would stand out in your collection. The only complaint is that the plate of roses is not connected to the figure in any way. It just sits there, so be careful not to lose it.
Senjougahara looks mad cute with short hair. Her pose is rather simple, but her flying scarf gives her figure movement and makes the figure look more dynamic.
I enjoy figures in traditional clothing. It's also really hard for me to find a Rei figure that I like. I always find the face to be a bit off, but this one looks really good, true to the anime. Her pose and sculpt makes her feel dainty.
Very well sculpted and detailed for a prize figure. Banprestio's SQ line always impresses me. If I have to complain I guess the ruffles on her collar is a bit chunky, but I forgive it for the price.
Art is super duper cute and I love the pastel palette.
The art in here is so adorable and colorful. This book is smaller than standard art book sizes and it's a soft-cover.
I really like 515M's art. It's different from usual styles of art, a little trippy, but somehow still cute.
A very lovely prize figure of the character. The base is unique and not just a chunk of white plastic. The underside of the figure is also sculpted despite the fact that you won't see it when you're displaying her lying down. Nice attention to detail.
I love how they show a little thumbnail of each of the boys' rooms. You can really see each boy's character in the way their room is decorated and arranged. I mean, someone had to think about the composition of their rooms. Yeah... I'm geeking out about such a small detail. Book is soft cover and also includes a pull out poster in the front.
This is a soft cover book and it comes in a plastic sleeve. Nice art.
The cover beneath the dust jacket is filled with chibi sketches of the characters. Adorable. Dust jacket has an interesting matte feel to it. Very nice art.
A collection of Jun Mochizuki's art of characters and scenes from Pandora Hearts. Recommended for fans of the series. Soft-cover book.
I love how colorful Nao Tsukiji's art is! It's like a rainbow on every page. Very lively and gives the viewer a feeling of joy.
Book construction is very good quality. Hard cover. Good paper. Artist uses an earthy palette.
This is a doujinshi by Gemi. Artist used a limited palette but produced very lively artwork.
This is a self-published book by Gemi. The artist uses a more somber color palette for many of her pieces, but conversely they seem very vivid and bright.
Really cute art of girls. Also comes with a clear file folder.
Beautiful girls, but even more stunning background work.
Has some art work in it, but it mostly seems to be information on how the Vocaloid songs are produced. I think it would be very interesting and informative for Vocaloid fans who can read Japanese. It also comes with a very detailed rubber strap of Miku.
This book is split into 5 parts: Character File, Event Visual, Design Works (concept art), World Material (background art and such), and Column (staff commentary).
Love all the different ninja designs of the characters in this game.
I got this magazine mainly for the CCS note pad. It's not really a "pad" though. There are a few pages in the front with CCS themed cards that you can punch out and write on. I would've liked more of these CCS cards, but at least the quality is firmer than regular paper and the designs are cute. I ended up keeping the magazine because the art is so cute, even though I can't read Japanese. Fyi, the paper for huge magazines like this tend to be on the flimsier side.
This is a very hefty book filled to the brim with artwork from the game. Imo, the amount of content that you get in here is definitely worth the price tag. The book is divided into the following sections:
Character
Job
Primal & Monster
Weapon
Background Images
Collaboration
Rough Sketch & Concept Art
Illustration Gallery
A reference book on how to draw characters with animal characteristics. There are many types of animal themes ranging from goat to squirrel to tiger. It doesn't show you 360 degree angles of how to draw each type of ear (like some other Japanese how-to books), but for a few of the animal themes it shows you how to portray different emotions with the animal ears. This book is mostly in black and white with a few pages of full-color art at the beginning of the book. There are also some posing tips in here related to human musculature. This book would be much more informative if you can understand Japanese, but the pictures are good references too.
These washi tapes themed after Neko Atsume is totes adorable.
This rubber strap is much firmer than other anime rubber straps that I own. Very cute designs.
Rilakkuma is such a funny character. This washi tape of the character is very good quality.
She's a tiny little figure that could fit into your hands. Adorably sculpted. Great colors.
This is a very awesome figure for a prize figure. Even the underside of the figure (the part that is lying down) is sculpted.
Awesome art book for fans of Saint Seiya. Book is good quality. Would recommend.
A neat little art book featuring Shikimi's artwork. The cover has embossed text and the square picture has photo-like glossiness. The inner cover is a striking red color. Paper feels matte to the touch. Unique and awesome art.
Nice character washi tape. Looks just as pictured.
This plush is super adorable. It's squishy while being firm, meaning that it bounces back into shape nicely. Great for snuggling.
Figure is exactly the same in person as it is in the product picture. The coloring is on point.
This figma is very well made. I especially love all the cats that came with this one.
I got the Dancing Kirby and the Hungry Kirby version. The Dancing Kirby is cute and mostly as pictured. The Hungry Kirby is a lot duller in person. It's hard to make out the images on it even when you use it atop white paper.
I wasn't expecting the bonus postcard that it came with. Very pleasant surprise. Yogisha's art is very lovely.
The paper of this book is rather thin compared to my other art books, though to be fair I think this is meant to be more of a guide book for the game with the pictures being bonuses, but the pictures are in the front of the book while the guide part is in the back... There are five major sections in this book: Visual, Characters, Rough Sketch, Strategy, and Data. Of course, it's all in Japanese. The art portion is vibrant and colorful. Though for the character section, about half of the characters only show the top half of the body instead of the full character image. Still quite nice. Four stars.
OMG, OMG, this washi tape is so cute! It features chibi versions of all the characters on a pastel background, two of my favorite things. The tape quality is good, too. You can stick it on something and peel it off a few times without the tape losing its stickiness. It also doesn't leave a sticky residue.
I got this mostly for the bonus artbook that it comes with. The art book is about the size of a manga book. It is hardcover with images of the boys printed on the front and back. There are 28 pages of art inside.
The colors in this art book blew me away. Definitely recommend if you like art with lots of color.
The art inside consists of traditional watercolor paintings of girls themed with different types of sweets and drinks. Very pretty. This is a bilingual book with both Japanese and English. The paper inside is semi-gloss. The dust jacket has a texture that is reminiscent of hot-pressed watercolor. Underneath the dust jacket the cover is all pink with images of desserts and such.
You can trust Liz Lisa when it comes to quality. Given the price, they better be good... Setting that aside, I do think this skirt is adorable in person. I should note that the actual product has one minor difference from the product picture. In the picture it shows that the front of the skirt has a little V-like dip at the waistband right above the bow, but in person the waistband is flat across. This doesn't affect the skirt in any major way, but I had thought that it would be unique to have a slightly different waistband considering that all the Liz Lisa skirts I've seen are all straight. Still giving it 5 stars.
I got the rabbit design. These keychains look really cute, but the printing quality seems to be lacking. There was a funny lump and a scratch on my keychain when I got it, and it looks like the picture might get scratched easily if you attach it to a bag. The picture is printed directly onto the back of the plastic, so it's protected from the front, but there's nothing to insulate the picture from the environment in the back.
Very neat acrylic keychains with a classic twist to the Vocaloid characters. I got Miku and Luka. Very pleased.
The Vocaloid characters look so dapper in these outfits! The straps are as detailed in person as it is in the pictures and it feels quality.
Very nice artbook. This is a soft-cover book and the paper quality is good. The cover has shiny metallic detailing on certain parts giving it a more intricate look.
These CCS acrylic keychains are so cute!!! Each one measures 6 cm in diameter. The printing quality looks really good. It doesn't seem like the picture would get scratched off easily, unlike some cheaper acrylic keychains that I got in the past. It's hard to tell in the product image, but the big star in every keychain is actually a cut out. What a nice detail. The upper argyle pattern is semi-transparent. Very pleased with this set.
Really love all the different outfit designs for the boys. This book also comes with a pull out poster.
Absolutely love the cover concept on this art book. They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but when it comes to art books I think it is very appropriate to judge the contents based on the cover art.
I like the look of this Pikachu stuffed animal. Sometimes Pokemon stuffed animals can look a bit derpy and not true to the anime, but this one looks good in person. The construction of this plush is good. It's a bit firm though, so not the best for cuddling.
I got this for my friend who loves Kirby and she's delighted by this stuffed animal. He's very well made.
There's many different styles of art in this book. Some of them I find weird, some of them I really like. It's a very hefty book though, so I'm sure there's a little something for everyone.
This is my first S.H. Figuarts figure so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a little chunky, but that's per the price I guess. This comes with a bonus: a bandana with Clow's magic circle inscribed on it.
This book measures 15 cm x 21 cm. It showcases art from many different artists.
This is a tiny book of art, but I really love the art inside. The price to page ratio might seem not worth it, but it is a self published book and I want to support the artist.
This is a doujinshi of 515M's art work. Worth it.
515M has such interesting artwork. It's a little different from the norm. I really like it.
A doujinshi of artworks. Cute and colorful with great detail.
Very cute art of girls. Just an fyi, each piece of art has a white border around it. In the back is a 4 page interview with the artist (in Japanese) and then a small section that has brief notes about each artwork.
Cute and good quality rubber straps.
The art in this book is based on the darker Vocaloid songs.
I feel like Pusheen plushies tend to be small, even when it is labeled as "big." This one is a decent size, about the size of my hand. I got the unicorn version for my sister and she loves it.
Tsukiji Nao's work is always so colorful and vibrant. This book is hard cover. Beneath the dust jacket the cover is a simple white with some text on it. However the cover is an interesting pearlescent texture.
Small and compact. I think this sculpt is very true to his character in the anime.
A nice thin artbook with a bunch of art that has Kaworu Nagisa in it.
This book is a hardcover. Beneath the dust jacket the design of the cover is a simple white with purple text and some stars and birds as decoration. I think the simplicity of it is very elegant. Great quality paper, nice and thick. Two-thirds of the book is colored art, and one-third is black and white art.
The over arching color theme of this book is pink and purple. There's a fold-out poster in the front. Every page is filled with cute girls.
This is a reference book. It shows women dressed in kimono and striking a pose. That pose is then photographed in multiple angles for reference. The poses are more for everyday modern scenes. If you want something more dynamic for fantasy or fight scenes, then this isn't quite right.
There are four major sections in this book: Job, Dragon & Monster, Weapon & Armor, and Story. The last section is the smallest one. I can't read Japanese, but from looking at it, I don't think it spoils much about the game.
I bought this as a gift for a friend. She thinks it's really cute. The pockets inside are made for smaller photos.
This planner is absolutely adorable!!! It comes with two ribbon bookmarks. Every page is printed with cute characters and patterns. The size is perfect for an on-the-go planner.
This book is the same size as the "Best of Bishonen" artbook. Both of them are compilations of multiple artists' artwork.
Similar to the pixiv collection books, this artbook is a compilation of many different artists' work, with a focus on male characters.
Super gorgeous art and the postcards are made from good quality cardstock.
Each piece of artwork is so detailed. The cardstock is nice and thick.
These sheets are cute and small, good for short notes and reminders. The erasers included are cute, but too small to for ease of use. I haven't used the erasers myself so I can't testify to their quality.
A good size notebook for journal keeping.
I love her, she's so gorgeous. The flag was a bit hard to get into place, but the figure itself is very nice.
The artist for Ten Count. Her art is so mellow and soothing.
Under the dust jacket, the cover of the book features sketches of some of the characters from the series. There's a double-sided fold out poster in the front. In the back is a manga of the characters when they were younger. So cute. Of course, it's in Japanese.
Just as the cover suggests, this book highlights art of the twins more than the other vocaloids, but the other characters also make cameos in this book, with Miku being the most prominent of the bunch.
Gorgeously colored and very detailed works of art. A few of the pieces are presented with their color variants to showcase different effects.
I got this in pink and I love the earthy pink shade of these shorts, however they're really wide, and due to the stiffer fabric, the shorts stick out on either side instead of conforming to the leg's curvature. This might be nice and breezy for hot weather, but the silhouette looks kind of funky for my taste.
For those of you hoping for new CCS artworks in this book you'll be disappointed. This book only has previous CCS works. Since I missed out on the older CCS artbooks, I'm happy to own this book, but those who already have previous artbooks of CCS might be disappointed with the doubles.
Being a B5 size, this art book is comparatively smaller than most of my other art books. It's more along the size of a self-published book than a traditionally published book, but the beautiful artwork makes up for it.
The cute girls in this book are thicc. There are lingerie pictures in here, but nothing too risque.
I really enjoy the pastel color palette of all the artwork in this book.
I am in love with the art in this book.
Love the dynamic pose of this figure.
This shirt is good quality. Fabric feels nice and the picture doesn't look like it will peel off.
I got some hamster phushies from this company, and this fox version is just as soft, however it's not as squishy as the hamsters. Due to the nature of the design, it is slightly firmer.
So soft and squishy. Perhaps it's due to the design and pose of this hamster, but I find him to be much squishier than other hamster pushies in this brand, meaning he doesn't bounce back into shape as quickly when you squeeze him.
A collection of artwork from many different artists. Each artist gets two pages to feature their art.
Standard mousepad. Picture is printed with vivid colors.
They're little magnetic bookmarks. It folds over and sticks to itself to mark your page.
Cute kitty stickies. I still think Post-Its makes the best sticky notes, but these are good too, and cute.
This one is about the size of my torso. I can also use this as a lap desk for my lap top.
So adorable! I love how the paper is die-cut to make it more interesting.
These memo pads are rather small, but so cute. As usual, I got 4 at once, to make sure I got all 4 designs.
Very detailed and intricate keychain. It's quite big and has a bit of weight to it.
These drawers are made with sturdy cardboard printed with cute designs. The pulling tab is made from a firm cloth ribbon. It's smaller then I would like. I use it to hold post-it pads.
Nice, strong magnet with a cute character on it.
This towel is on the smaller side for a "bath" towel, so I doubt I'll be using it as such (if I ever do use it). It's almost too cute to be used. Good material, soft.
The cover is made from bendable plastic. The paper is nice and thick with cute designs on every page.
These are decent sized memo pads, about the size of a manga book. Good paper quality and cute designs.
I had no idea what "market seal bits" were, but turns out, they're stickers. These are clear stickers of sumikko gurashi. They're quite small (about the size of my thumb nail) and since they're not adhered to a sticker sheet, they can get quite finicky when you try to use them. There's no convenient slit in the back for when you want to peel the sticker off its backing, since it's so small. But it's still cute and the quality of the stickers is good.
I love the Sumikko Gurashi characters. I got four of these memo pads at once to ensure that I would get all four different sets, since these pads are chosen at random if you just get one.
I got the Coron version for my little brother because he keeps trying to steal my other big, fluffy hamster plushie. XD He really likes it.
There are two versions when it comes to Karneval Postcard Books: Funny and Adult. The art in this one is all wholesome and cute pictures of the characters. The cards are made with thick cardstock. Very nice.
For a bookmark, this is much wider than what I usually go for. The material is flexible and would be transparent without the art printed on it, but I can feel that the quality of the bookmark is good. It won't break on you easily. I prefer my bookmarks to be a bit firmer, but I love Natsume Yuujincho, so I want to buy its merch to support it.
I really like Hotaru Takeda's Arabian-esque artwork. But be careful when buying her doujinshi, because some of her artwork tends to repeat between different books, especially if they're published close together in date.
This is a doujinshi (self-published book) by the artist, therefore it's fairly thin, but the paper quality in this soft-cover book is good and the art is cute.
Ahaha, these little dog memos are so cute. I ordered four to ensure that I got one of each since the design is chosen for you at random.
These cat ball chain plushies are about the size of my hand. They're firm when you try to squish them, but the fur material is soft. Perhaps due to the small size, sometimes the details might be a bit off. I ordered two different colors, and one of them had a very derpy face because it wasn't symmetrical.
This blanket truly is fuwa fuwa. It's so soft and fluffy. I got this as a present for my baby cousin and it's the perfect size for swaddling her.
I love the sumikko gurashi character designs. They're sooo cute! I'm sad that the other sets ran out, but I managed to nab the sushi version.
My sister is a fan of this character so I got a set for her birthday. She likes them so much that she's unwilling to use them.
Oh my god, these stickers are so adorable. I use them when I write letters to my friend.
This memo is very tiny, but I couldn't resist the cuteness. Good for writing short notes.
I love character washi tape and this tape is both cute and good quality.
He's so plump and fluffy. His size is a perfect fit for hugging to my torso. Super soft. My little brother keeps trying to steal him. XD
Cute shorts. The material is a little stiffer than usual Liz Lisa fare, but not scratchy at all.
These straps are so cute and detailed. I can't bear to use them outside and dirty them, so I display them at home.
Good paper quality. Soft-cover book. I really enjoy seeing the twins being portrayed in different styles of art.
This book deserves the title Happiness. The pictures inside are so fun and they really do make me happy when I look at them.
Let's be honest, I got this solely for the Red Saber rubber strap. I can't read a lot of Japanese, but I ended up keeping the magazine, because all the artists have such pretty and cute art. The poster is a nice addition too.
This book is chock full of the girls in all sorts of different outfits. Especially love the cover art. BTW this book is soft-cover.
This is an art book with pictures of beautiful girls. Good paper quality. Soft-cover book.
Fell in love with this figure at first sight, so I purchased her. Love the facial expression of this figure.
This artbook is about the size of a manga book. It comes with a plastic dust jacket that has the text on it along with some chibi drawings and the barcode on the back. The color pages inside are made with paper that is better quality than regular manga paper, but not as good as say A4 size artbook paper would be. There are black and white sections featuring sketches and line art. The paper for those parts is similar to manga magazine paper, kind of like newspaper. Very satisfied with the artwork. It's so hard to find a book compilation of Akira Amano's art.
This is a soft-cover artbook of Hiro Mashima's art. Beneath the colorful dust jacket is a sketch of the cover art. Paper quality is thick. There's a slight texture to the paper when you run your fingers across the page. The back has some outlines of his art and an interview with the artist (in Japanese).
The art work in here is super colorful and detailed. Definitely need to go through this book slowly to take in everything. For a self-published book this is on the thicker end.
You can feel the quality of this dress when you put it on. It's not flimsy or see through at all, but it's also on the thicker side in terms of layers and fabric choice, so it might not be the best choice if your summers are really hot, but it's a very cute spring (and summer) one piece.
For the price point, this is such a detailed figure. I love the base, it really paints a scene with the broken rocks and shards of glass.
I can't read all the Japanese in this magazine, but I can enjoy all the fashion photos. There are makeup tutorials too. If you have a basic grasp of makeup you should be able to follow along based on the pictures.
These chibi figures are so precious. You get one of each design and then a double of one of them. My double happened to be Makoto. The details are very good on these little figures. The construction is solid, nothing fragile or easily breakable. Figures come in blind boxes that has a shape reminiscent of milk cartons.
Whoa, this softcover book is huge! There are illustrations in the front followed by a character section, then there are scenes from the game, and lastly a section on the mecha and weapons. A great reference material for fans. Paper quality is very nice.
This is a hard cover book and it covers with a transparent plastic dust jacket that has the title of the book printed in gold lettering. This is quite a thick artbook so you're getting your money's worth. paper quality is good, but not super thick. Semi-gloss finish. There's an interview section in the back of this book, but it's written in Japanese. There's also a section featuring landscapes and various flag designs.
Exact same format as the first book in this series. It's a nice hard cover book with ribbons on the inside cover for tying the book together. The paper quality is thick as has a semi-gloss finish. There's a fold-out poster in the back featuring the characters in wonderland. There's also a section in the back featuring Toboso's fan art of other manga/anime series. I have one gripe about the construction of this book: there's a page that wasn't glued into the book, so it slides out when I open the book.
Great quality. This book is a nice hard cover. It comes with ribbons attached to the inside cover for tying the book close, which is unnecessary but a nice touch. The first page has a semi-transparent window that let's you look through to the first art work, very cool effect. I recommend this book if you're a fan of Black Butler or Toboso's art style.
Absolutely love this cutie! I got two of them when they went on sale. One for my sister and one for myself. From its hooves to its ears, this plushie is about the length of my torso. I measure 5'6". The quality is very good: soft fur and no loose threads.
Quality of Book: Very good. The paper feels firm and about 2.5 times thicker than copy paper. The texture is somewhere between glossy and matte. I would describe it as satin. The colored image on the cover is slightly embossed and has a gloss over it, while the white parts remain matte, which gives the cover interest.
Content: Don't be fooled by the innocent looking little girl on the cover, the contents of this book lean towards R-15. There's lots of nude breasts and suggestive glimpses of the lower half. I was a bit surprised at first because I wasn't familiar with this artist prior to purchasing this book. I was taken in by the cover and the sample images that TOM ...Read more
This hand puppet is absolutely adorable! I also got the "big" sized rainbow alpacasso stuffed animal from this company, but I think this smaller hand puppet is much cuter, because you can control it to tilt its head and move its arms, giving it various cute poses. The quality is top notch. I don't detach any loose threads. The fur is soft and the interior of the puppet is made with a smooth fabric.
For the price of this book you get 300 pages worth of content, and I paid under 20 dollars for this when it went on sale. The paper quality is not the thick glossy type you would find in an art book, which is a given since this is not technically an art book, and considering the bargain price. The book is broken up into several sections. There's a large section featuring the individual characters. There's an interview section, what looks to be a walk through of the game, a facial expression section... If you're looking for full page art works then this is not the book for you, but you do get a lot of colorful character designs and reference material.
She's a gorgeous figure that comes preassembled and all you have to do is pop her on the base. However, the pegs on the base and the slots in the soles of her shoes don't match up perfectly so you have to push the legs apart to get them to fit properly, and even then I had troubles securing the figure as there was a noticeable gap between the bottom of her boots and the base. So I tried pulling the figure off the base to reinsert it, but then one of the pegs came flying off... I tried to glue the piece back on but it just wasn't working. If nothing else, it's easier to fit her onto the base now that there's only one peg to deal with... but I don't really count t...Read more
I find her expression pretty simple and bland, there's nothing overly exciting about her eyes or facial expression, but overall, her pose and theme is very cute. Shading is great and she's just like the pictures.
This book opens horizontally and all the drawings inside are in black and white. This is basically a concept art book with character designs and location settings done in black and white. It's good as reference material, but don't expect a colored art book.
As this is a guide book and not an actual art book, most of the artwork in this book is of the characters and their design. You don't get many full page artworks and many of the pages come accompanied with text. I have no qualms about this since I did get this book for the cute girls and didn't really care what format they were presented in. There are, however, some pages near the end that are collages of pure art. There's also a section featuring buildings, which I think might be reference photos or location photos, but don't quote me on that. And finally in the back is an interview, in Japanese of course.
A majority of the art in this book features cute girls on simple, sometimes solid white, backgrounds. Towards the back there were quite a few suggestive pictures and by suggestive I mean nude pictures of girls. I was a bit surprised by that since I knew nothing about the artist, but if you're into that then you can give this book a look.
This guy turned out to be surprisingly huge. He was about ten inches tall. Assembly was very quick and simple. He doesn't come with a stand or anything extra to hold him up, but he stands well on his own. His furry scarf looks a bit weird when translated to plastic, but everything else is spot on and very nice.
From the pictures I was afraid his hair was going to look a bit weird around the crown, like stringy pieces of play-doh stuck together. The actual figure's hair turned out to be better as in it didn't look like obvious individual strands were stuck to the crown. It was a more cohesive sculpt, but I still think it looks a bit like play-doh, probably because it's so yellow. The figure was hard to attach at the waist because of the dynamic twist in his pose, but a bit of strength and pushing at the crotch made it work. XD Paint job is good and there's nice, fine detail in the folds and wrinkles of his clothes. Face is nicely sculpted and painted. I love the chain around his ...Read more
She's super cute and comes fully assembled so you don't have to put decapitated body parts together. >.< Paint job is well done, only the occasional odd speck here and there. She stands at approximately seven inches tall.
Pros: Shading is done very nicely, and most evident in the jeans. Then blend of brown and black gives the jeans a well worn look. The waves in the hair are pretty incredible. Cons: Apparent seams along the arms and around the shoulders. Her face appears a little uneven.
This book has really interesting textures. The cover is glossy. The inside pages have a slight rubbery feel to them, I'm not sure what type of paper it is, but it's definitely different from any other art book I own.
There is really only 6 double page spread art works in this book. Each piece is cute and in full color.
This is a soft cover book with a dust jacket. The book is divided into several sections. The first part features full page artworks, then it's followed by character pages that shows the character's outfits and some screen shots from the anime. The next section is episode recaps with screen shots. From this point on it would be nice if I knew more Japanese because it starts becoming text heavy from this part on. The section after that is a bunch of interviews with the voice actors. The last part is voice actor bios.
This is a hardcover book. The dust jacket is holographic, the cover underneath is glossy and smooth. Inside there is a fold out poster featuring artwork of the front and back cover of the dust jacket. This book is packed FULL of art work. Some pages are collages of art work. While I like that there is so much art in here, I'm not too happy with the collage pages because it's hard to discern all the finer details when the image has been shrunk down. Of course, if they had a page for every art piece in this book, then the book itself would've been that much more expensive, so it's like a compromise.
This is one brick of a magazine. Haha. I picked up this issue because I'm a fan of Nao Tsukiji's art and the cover featured her drawing. I can't read Japanese well, but I can still enjoy all the artwork in this magazine.
This art book is just breathtaking and bursting with colors. The girls are adorable and the guys look cool. Some of the art works featured some really realistic looking food. Yum yum. This book is packed with art work. There is an interview section in the back that only took up one page, so even if you can't read Japanese you can still enjoy the rest of the book.
I got the Pitacolle version and I'm actually kind of bummed I didn't get the Tanaka Strike version too because these masking tapes are adorable. They're slightly see through and rip very easily by hand. Just as a test I tried writing on them, but the smooth texture doesn't take lead or ink well. On white paper, the colors of the masking tapes are more vivid.
These rubber straps are super adorable and they come packaged in the cutest light blue box. Each rubber strap measures about 2.25 inches x 2.5 inches. They're a substantial size and would definitely catch the eye whether you hang them on your phone or your bag. There are only slight defects to two of the straps. One of them had a bit of uneven rubber on the face, which luckily I could pass off as a nose, but the other one had some black smudges on his blonde hair so I'm a little bummed about that, but otherwise these straps are really cute.
These pins are adorable and as metal they feel nice and sturdy. However, when I got the pins, Kuroko #2 (the doggie) had already fallen off from its pin backing. =( I think I can glue it back on with a bit of hot glue, but that was a bit disappointing. Now I'm afraid of the picture part of the pin falling off if I wear it...
The art work is gorgeously detailed and colors are vivid. There are 14 individual pieces of art work, 11 of them are colored and 3 of them are in black and white. Of the colored pieces, 2 of them are double page spreads, and of the black and white, 1 of them is a two-page spread. It's not a lot of art work for the price, but self-published doujinshi works tend to be pricer and it's really more about supporting the artist than getting your money's worth, so you have to decide yourself whether you think this art book is worth it or not. The book measures about 8 1/4 inches x 5 7/8 inches which is 21 cm x 15 cm.
Kise looks so cute in this chibi form. I got him to switch out the old keyring I'm using, but now I'm hesitating because I don't want him to get scratched up. Oh the dilemma. XD
I got this keychain for a friend who's a fan of the anime series. I thought the little snerk on Kagami's chibi face was hilarious. The design is nicely cut into the rubber, the keychain was packaged well, and my friend enjoys it.
These magnets are lovely, but I think they're too small for the types of art work chosen. For something of this size I think portraits of the characters with simple backgrounds would work better. It's hard to appreciate the details in the art and background when the magnet is so small, but as a fan I can still appreciate the fact that it is Kuroko paraphernalia, and I got this as a gift for my friend so as long as she likes it then I have no qualms about the chosen art work.
Also the pack of magnets I got were a little damaged. The paper on two of the images were ripped at the edges and the back was kind of scratched up. I contacted TOM and they kindly sent me another pac...Read more
I got this skirt in white and it is super cute. It's great when you want to go for a simple white skirt, but still want the skirt to have that extra detail to it and I think this skirt has just the right amount of subtle detail to not be overwhelming. This skirt feels slightly stiffer than other Liz Lisa skirts, probably due to it's design. I wouldn't say that's good or bad, but it's just something to note.
The main reason I picked up this volume of the manga in particular was because of the extra postcard book it came with and I'm very happy with it: both the manga itself and the postcard book. There are twelve postcards in the book, and for a bonus item the postcards are made with thick, sturdy card stock. It's also glossy which makes the pictures look nice, but be careful of smudging when you write on it with ink.
I got this pad in both versions because I couldn't decide between the two. I think they're both cute and the picture is nicely detailed. The cover is textured. One of the pads had a wad of gunk stuck to one of the pages. It was like hardened glue, but I'm not too sure what it really was. I just flicked it off, but it left a tiny indent on the pad, so I'm a little disappointed about that, but otherwise the pads themselves are good quality with nice paper.
I got this sweater in white and it is exactly as pictured. The sweater material is so soft. The baggy cut gives it an effortless slouched look. I think it's a tad overpriced, but with Liz Lisa you're paying for brand and it really is a nice sweater in real life.
I love the choice of primary colors in this figure. The colors harmonize so well and it looks exceptionally good with the touch of pink. This figure is very detailed and well sculpted. Her pose makes her more heavy on one side, so I'm worried that she might be a leaner in the future, but for the most part she's a stable figure.
I got this skirt in white and it's a slightly warm off-white color. It's very soft and the layers give it just the right amount of poof. The design is simple but perfect for pairing with many different outfits. The cute waistband makes an outfit look nice whether you tuck in or untuck your shirt. The tops of the bow is sewn onto the waistband to keep the bow up and in shape. My one gripe is that one side of the bow wasn't sewn on right. It's not a big problem, but for the high price, you kind of get nit-picky about the details.
I got this top in pink and it's a very pale pink. A bit too pale, but still cute and it feels nice on.
I got this dress in both the blue and white version because I like the cut and design of it so much. This dress really is cute and it's a nice long length, stops right at the knees. For reference I am 5'5". The skirt part has heart lacing and its cute.
I got this top in yellow. It's a great mellow yellow shade for spring or summer. The material feels cool on the skin and the top itself feels like good quality.
I got this dress in navy and it suits my skin tone well. It slips on nicely and stops at a good length slightly above the knees. However, for this price point the material is not as soft as I expected it to be. I really think you're paying for brand at this high price point. Something closer to 45 USD seems more reasonable for a dress of this style and quality, which is still good but not exceptional.
I got this figure of Ace for his dynamic pose, and the real thing did not disappoint. Not only is this figure dynamic, the details and paint job are also very good for a figure of his price. The figure I got doesn't look exactly like the sample pictures, like the right arm is slightly higher in real life, but it's not a deal breaker and his hat still goes around him nicely. I'm not too crazy about the stand because it feels a little unstable to me, but if you're displaying this figure on a shelf or in a case and don't move him then the stand does its job. I happen to display him on my desk and I move things around a lot, so he gets knocked off his stand. It's ea...Read more
Most figures of Luffy that I find seem plain to me, but I only have good things to say about this figure. Luffy is in a dynamic pose and he's got great detailing throughout, from his clothes and bags, right down to the stick he carries. Everything is textured and just seems so realistic. Even his face is nicely sculpted and the inside of his mouth is hollowed as far back as I can see. He also fits very nicely into his stand. If I have to mention a con I would have to say it's the weird little grooves in his skin, which is reminiscent of One Piece art work, like when the character is scratched up after a fight. It kind of looks like that to me.
This figure turned out to be unexpectedly huge. He measures approximately ten and a half inches from head to foot. As always, Banpresto figures are a wonderful surprise, at least all the ones I've gotten thus far. Banpresto figures are super detailed and well sculpted for their price point, and this Zoro figure is no exception. The shading and gradient effect throughout the figure is wonderful. I love the folds in his clothing and his boots have a nice worn look, like he trekked through the desert. The swords were a little hard to put on the figure because there is no instruction manual but don't worry, everything is made to fit together and it will. Facial expression is also on po...Read more
I got this stamp set for when I write letters to a pen pal who is a great Kirby fan, and I'm so glad I did. Each stamp came out with clear detailed lines and they were all adorable. The ink pad is a bright fuchsia, slightly pinker than the samples shown. Be careful with the ink pad as it is quite juicy and I got ink on my fingers and unexpected places a couple of times. I found that tapping the stamp against the ink pad a few of times is the best way to ink the stamps. Pressing down hard on the pad (as I first did) squished some ink out of the sides of the foam pad and didn't ink the stamp as well either.
I saw someone do an unboxing of this figure on Youtube way back when, and since then I've had this figure on my mind on and off. For a 1/6 scale figure I was delightfully surprised by the price point that TOM offers. She's super cute out of the box. Her "stand" is actually a green satin pillow. The details in the pleats and folds of her outfit are very precise and there's even definition for her spine and shoulder blades. The shading is good for the most part expect for a tiny splotch of extra paint on the bangs and a random line of darker paint on the left shoulder blade. The paint is purple and kind of gradient around the edges so I can sort of pretend it's th...Read more
In person, the mocha top is like a dark milk tea color. The fabric is light, smooth polyester. Good for spring. I didn't notice any loose threads and the top goes on easily thanks to the elastic waist. For reference, I'm 5'5" and the elastic part stops about two inches above my navel.
I was skeptical about this postcard book at first due to the price. I've gotten two other postcard books from otakumode for cheaper prices, but the price really does reflect the quality of the book. That is not to say the other two postcard books I got were in any way bad, but the quality on this book is pretty amazing. Each postcard is printed on thick card stock type paper. The post cards are not glued to the spine of the cover, but held together on one edge by a thin strip of glue, making it easier to remove the postcards from the book. Even the dust jacket is a nice thick paper, and under the dust jacket, the book cover is grey and imprinted with the black silhouettes of the chara...Read more
A nice book, slightly bigger than the size of my hand. I counted 51 sheets (102 pages) in mine. The paper is of good quality; smooth and thick. Since there are no pictures of how the inside of the book look like on the website page, I'll try my best to describe what it looks like. The inside pages have a thick grey border with the alchemist crest in watermark form in the center of the page. The front page of a sheet has a picture of "Ed looking annoyed at a bottle of milk" in the upper left corner, and the back page has a picture of chibi Ed in the lower right corner. All the artwork inside the book is in grey scale. Overall I'm very pleased with this book, but I would l...Read more
I find this figure to be funny and cute. The stubby hair bothers me a little because I feel like the hair should be thinner and a little longer, but I still like it overall.
I got this for my friend who loves Doctor Who and thinks the Adipose is cute. I find it more of a creepy cute though.
This book has art work and character designs from several different otome games, each with a different art style. Character pages are interspaced by screen captures from the games. This book also includes a booklet of postcards, which I find to be pointless in postcard format, because no way am I mailing away any of that delicious art work. All in all very satisfied with this art book.
Natsuo Kumeta's color palette has a very earthy tone, it's different from the other colorful art books on my shelf and I really appreciate it.
This book has a mix of things. I can divide it into three major sections. The first part has artwork of the characters in various poses and scenes. The second part included character design pages, and character outlines. The third part has screen captions from the game. I didn't realize how many characters were in the game until I started flipping through the pages, which means there are many character designs to look at and admire.
A very colorful and detailed book. Some pages have more than one art piece on it. Quite a few of the pieces are kind of suggestive, which was unexpected, but if you're into that sort of art work then you might like this.
Touya Mikanagi's art has a trippy feel that makes it unique and different.
I think Rilakkuma is cute enough, but I'm not crazy about the design. I prefer the Sumikko Gurashi designs because I find them cuter. It's just a personal taste. But that being said, the pink version of this notepad still attracted me because I find the designs of them to be cute and to my taste. I also enjoy unique silhouettes in my stationery paper, so this was a good buy.
Kiyo Kyujyo's art is provocative, detailed, and gorgeous.
These notes are so fun to use. I got the pink version. Additional information: the notes are opaque. (I thought they could be the clear see through type from the photos, so just a heads up.) The notes are about 2-2.5 cm in diameter, so they're pretty small, but perfect for using in planners, which seems to be the intended purpose if the packaging is anything to go by. I think they would go great with the "Sumikko Gurashi B6 Size Weekly Planner," which I also bought at the same time as these sticky notes.
These notebooks are exactly as pictured. They're so cute, I love them. I got one of each. Hard cover.
This planner is so cute. I almost don't want to write in it, because I'm afraid of ruining it. It's a weekly planner that includes a note page with every week, and a monthly page for every month. There is a subway map in the back, which would be useful if you're in Tokyo, and also pages to write down your contacts.
I got this magazine specifically for the Natsume Yuujincho note pad. I'm very into stationery at the moment, and Natsume Yuujincho is one of my favorite anime shows, so I decided to go for this purchase. I'm a little disappointed that the paper of the notepad was flimsier than expected, so the pad has creases on every page. I'm a little bummed about it, but the artwork of the pages in the note pad is still very cute. Notepad aside, the magazine is nice.
This book has a mix of art works. Some are very bright, colorful, and cute. Other pieces use a more somber palette, but the art is still cute and somehow energetic. The cover also has an interesting texture. It's not the smooth, shiny type that holds figure prints. It's more on the matte side and the silver accents really adds a special touch when you're tilting the book around. My copy came wrapped in plastic and as always with otakumode, it is in good condition.
A lot of gorgeous and colorful character designs on nearly every page. This hefty book is a real eye candy. For the amount of pages in here, I think it's very much worth the price paid.
Loving the theme of the book. Each art piece is based on gemstones of the months. I especially like the topaz themed piece, probably because that's my birth month.
This book includes character bio pages for each of the characters and screen caps of scenes from the game featuring the girls. The artwork has a soft, watercolor feel and is very pleasing to the eye.
Funky fashion from the streets of Harajuku ranging from lolita to visual kei. There's a few manga pages. Magazine also includes an inset booklet with make up tips to go along with the fashion.
The artwork is so intricate and detailed. Most of the pieces have an Arabian feel as indicated by the cover and gives the art book an exotic vibe.
This is a mammoth manga magazine. The spine is about 1.8 inches thick. This edition also comes with extras, which I must admit was the main reason I purchased this magazine. I'm a sucker for bonuses.
This magazine has a big focus on style. There are some make up tips in here, but not much. It includes two inset booklets, the smaller one is dedicated to hairstyle, hair care, and make up, and the bigger inset booklet focuses on style. I bought this magazine for inspiration on how to pair my clothes, so this is right up my alley.
I love flipping through art books for inspiration, and art books like this one that is a compilation of artworks from different artists is great because I can enjoy many different styles in one bound copy. This book's focus is Miku and it is great to see different artists' interpretation of the same character. It really brings attention to their individual styles of drawing.
This figure is just adorable. Comes with an interchangeable head and uniform ribbon, so it's like getting two characters in one figure. The dress has a rubbery texture and is flexible to a degree.
I love the new cover art for this anniversary edition. I love the Touya and Yukito pair and the snow theme is just lovely.
There was a little hiccup in getting this figure. Apparently there was a mix up with the manufacturer, but otakumode sent me the figure as soon as they got their stock of the figures. The figure was very cute upon opening but one of the strings on the bikini top was bent in a different direction than the photos shown. Being meticulous, this annoyed me a little bit, but a little fiddling slotted the string back in place. Though I was afraid of twisting the head off while trying to fix it, but I managed in the end and I'm happy with the way it looks now.
Leaving notes is so much funner with these cute slips of paper.
I got the blue version. This is like post-it notes with a little something extra. It's sticky on the bottom. The top part folds down into the bottom like an accordion and hides the message between the cute characters, so it's almost like a secret message for your friend.
I love everything about this figure. The pose is dynamic and Kuroko is my favorite character from the series. His expression is serene yet determined. The detail and shading on this figure is awesome. The muscles, bone structure, basketball, and wrinkles in the clothing/sneakers are all very defined and create an interesting play between light and shadow when you're looking at the figure. The nose is taller than I expected. This is neither good nor bad, just something I noticed. Very happy with my purchase and it came well packaged in the mail.
In agreement with other reviewers, this postcard book has a misleading cover. There are a few (very few) pictures that are along the "adult" vein, but not many. That being said, the artwork is still very nice and I won't be sending these postcards out anytime soon. Nope, it's going to stay in my art collection.
Eri Kamijo's artwork is bold and looks simplistic, but there is definitely attention to detail. Color palate tends to be limited for any one piece of artwork as per her style. The book has a good amount of art.
This art book is about the size of a manga. The quality of both the cover and pages is very good. I'm surprised by the low price of this book. It comes with a plastic dust jacket that adds to the cover artwork, which I thought was a very nice touch. Inside features both colored and b&w (black and white) art work.
A beautiful figure for a reasonable price. Nice gradient effect in the wings and great detail in the dress. The figure came in a plain white box with a cover sheet featuring artwork of the figure. When I received the figure it also came with a catalogue featuring Madoka Magica figures. The paint job on the dress where the purple interior meets the white exterior is not the most precise, but I decided not to dock a star for it. The figure features a serene expression and a unique base. I'm glad I got it.
For the price, I think this is a very nice figure for fans of the show. The paint job is nice. I didn't notice any globs of paint or uneven paint job. I will say the skin shade for the face and the rest of the body seems to be a little off though. Not by much, but it was noticeable. I love the ruffles in the dress, simple yet detailed. FYI, the figure comes in a nice box, but there is no blister packaging inside. Overall, satisfied.
