I got the Pitacolle version and I'm actually kind of bummed I didn't get the Tanaka Strike version too because these masking tapes are adorable. They're slightly see through and rip very easily by hand. Just as a test I tried writing on them, but the smooth texture doesn't take lead or ink well. On white paper, the colors of the masking tapes are more vivid.
