Characters

Loid Forger (Voiced by: Takuya Eguchi)
Loid is a talented secret agent belonging to the Western Intelligence Service (WISE). His codename is “Twilight.” He is a master of disguise with extraordinary observational skills and a keen memory. He is a rationalist by nature and steadfastly carries out his duties as a spy. He changes his disguise depending on the mission, but when he is with his family, he is a caring and devoted father and husband.

Yor Forger (Voiced by: Saori Hayami)
Yor appears to be a female office worker for a company in the city, but her true identity is that of the master assassin known as “Thorn Princess.” She married Loid under false pretenses in order to ensure the safety of her beloved younger brother and continue her work as an assassin without being suspected. She is a demure beauty who speaks in a polite tone. However, when Anya is in danger, or when she senses she is close to being found out, she shows her true colors and exterminates with extreme prejudice and skill. She thinks Loid’s uneasiness toward Anya is endearing and also has budding feelings for Anya.

Anya Forger (Voiced by: Atsumi Tanezaki)
Anya is a self-described 6 year old who was created by accident during an experiment by a certain organization, which gave her psychic powers and the ability to read other people’s thoughts. While at an orphanage, she is taken in by Loid, who needed a child for one of his missions. She keeps her psychic abilities a secret from everyone and is the only member of the family to know both Loid and Yor’s true identities. Despite her psychic abilities, she is still a kid at heart who is brimming with curiosity and especially loves spy movies. She doesn’t like to study due to being forced to during a past experiment, but she has a pure heart and is willing to study hard so that she can be together with her father, Loid.

World

Western Intelligence Service (WISE)
The spy organization to which Twilight belongs. Its emblem resembles an eye, which symbolizes the organization’s mission to watch over and protect the East.

Operation Strix
The mission given to Twilight. The overall goal of the mission is to get close to Donovan Desmond, a prominent politician and President of the National Unity Party of Ostania, by having Twilight create a fake family and have his adopted daughter attend the Eden School, which Donovan’s second son Damian attends. Divided into two phases, the first phase is to get Anya into the school by having her pass the entrance exam, and the second phase is to arrange a get-together with the Desmond family by having Anya befriend Damian. But Phase 2 proves difficult to achieve due to Anya’s poor grades, forcing Loid to come up with a Plan B.

War
A large-scale war once engulfed the East and the West. Twilight, who lived in the western part of the country, became a war orphan when his hometown was destroyed. The East also suffered great damage from the war and reconstruction efforts are still ongoing. Although a tentative peace is currently maintained, the generation that lived through the war has now grown up, and there has been a rise in radicals in the West who still staunchly oppose the East.
