On Feb. 22, Tecmo Koei Games’ Warring States Period simulation game *Samurai Cats* passed the two year mark since service for the game began. In commemoration, sales of coin gacha for the game began.
Starting on April 13, theaters throughout Japan will begin screening the film *HK/Hentai Kamen*. In commemoration, a movie-based novel will release shortly thereafter on April 15.
*Disgaea* is a tactical RPG game series that celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. On Feb. 21, Nippon Ichi Software released the second promotional video (PV) for *Disgaea D2*.
*Saint Young Men* is a huge hit comic by Hikaru Nakamura that has over 9.6 million copies in print. The first anime movie for the series will be released in Japan on May 10.
The series *A Certain Magical Index* has been enjoying popularity in a number of forms of media, including light novels, anime, comics, and games, selling roughly 14 million copies in total.
Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) has announced that the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2013, a festival for both those in the gaming industry and fans, will be held at Makuhari Messe from Sept. 19-22.
