In celebration of the 10th anniversary since the broadcast of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, commemorative sets will be released. “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Maximized” and “Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C 2nd Gig Maximized” will sell for 7,350 yen each (tax included) beginning in August. These limited items are available by pre-order only and may be reserved up until July 8.
The sets are composed of four items, which are outlined below.
First is a 350-page art book featuring a collection of concepts and fine art of the characters and props. Furthermore, each characters’ famous scenes are included.
Second is the final screenplay manuscript. This 530-page book includes deleted scenes, script changes, and other precious storyboard materials.
Third is the interview collection. Interview texts have been compiled into a book from interviews previously included in the DVD release as an extra. This 300-page book features comments from director Kenji Kamiyama as well as from the anime’s staff and cast.
Fourth is a CD-ROM with e-book data. The disc also includes a compilation of interviews of each series’ staff.
This collector’s set also features a deluxe box for safekeeping. The quality and amount of irresistible items in this set are both unsurpassed. These box sets are definitely great for any Ghost in the Shell fan.
