This apron doesn’t say “Cooking with Dog.” You know why? Because if you wear this apron and try our recipes, YOU ARE COOKING WITH DOG!!
Cooking with Dog is a YouTube cooking show featured by a canine host Francis and a mysterious Japanese Chef whose real name is not disclosed. This apron features adorable Francis illustrated by artist Joanna Zhou who is also a fan of the show.
In the process of making, Chef and Francis picked 2 types of aprons from a catalog and carefully examined the qualities and designs. They actually put on both products, did washing tests and chose this apron.
As for the illustration, the size and position were carefully arranged. The height of illustration is about 24cm (9.4”) and the line connecting Francis’ left eye and the crossing point between the hindfoot and forefoot comes to about the center line of the apron.
This black apron is 65% polyester and using the same printing method as our T-shirts is likely to cause discoloration. To avoid this, the design was printed onto special paper and was then transferred to the fabric. Called transfer printing, it has a relatively thick and firm print surface compared to our T-shirts.
During the printing process, a horizontal crease was created near Francis’ hat. This is not a manufacturing error and the print has been carefully positioned to give you the best balance and design. These high-quality aprons were printed in Kagawa, Japan.
