Held annually at Miami, US, the world’s largest music festival ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL is finally coming to Japan on 27, 28 Sep this year, bringing us ULTRA JAPAN 2014.
Right before this long-awaited event, the music producer for Miku Hatsune and a famous artist himself, kz was invited to participate in this project. The vocal was done by IMALU, who’s active in talent and artist activities. Toyota’s sports car 86 and G's MARK X were used to create this secret live special movie.
The latest technology「DRIFT TURN TABLE」used in creating the movie is able to alternate the music according to the changes in the car movements through hi-tech sensors. Together with kz’s intriguing DJ music and the rhythmical female vocal, an unheard-of, thrilling music video was created with cars ‘singing’.
kz is one of the world-class EDM artists like ZEDD, Afrojack etc. whose music genres stretches from remix to pop and is well known as sound producer. He’s active in his solo project livetune and has been producing numerous pieces with Miku Hatsune, within which「Tell Your World」- a piece he drafted for “Google Chrome - Miku Hatsune Version -” has become a controversial commercial and gained worldwide attention. On 10 Sep 2014, kz released an album on his adding series, in which real vocalists like Fukase in SEKAI NO OWARI and Sho Kiryuin from Golden Bomber were used. That has brought even more attention on him.
