Celebrate the Opening of Kotori Cafe Sugamo with a Bird Dessert Present! ♪

Kotori means "little bird" in Japanese, so at Kotori Cafe you can expect to find a menagerie of avian cuties! Kotori Cafe Omotesando and its sister cafes are based on the concept of a place where you can enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee while gazing at cute little birds.

The newest Kotori Cafe, Kotori Cafe Sugamo, is celebrating its one month anniversary, and it's the perfect opportunity to indulge in adorable bird-themed sweets. Kotori Cafe Sugamo's "One Month Anniversary Celebration Campaign! Little Bird Dessert Present ♪" project is on until the end of January, and each customer who orders a drink will receive a free Kotori Cake! (A limited number of free cakes will be prepared each day, so they're only available while supplies last.)

Kotori Cafe continues to offer new events, new little bird sweets, and more for bird lovers and little bird fans, as well as for tourists and anyone looking for a soothing place to relax.

Kotori Cafe Sugamo Is Open!
Following on from Kotori Cafe Shinsaibashi, which opened in April 2016, Kotori Cafe Sugamo is the fourth Kotori Cafe. Kotori Cafe Sugamo is located close to the Togenuki Jizoson Kogan-ji Temple in the heart of the Sugamo Jizo-dori Shopping Street, which is affectionately referred to as "Harajuku for grannies." It's a mere 5-minute walk from JR Sugamo Station or the Toei Mita Subway Line Sugamo Station, making it super easy to get to.

Inside the cafe, customers are treated to views of the biggest glass cage in any of Japan's bird cafes, and it's home to around 50 birds. There are popular birds here that you won't find in any of the other Kotori Cafes, including finches such as Java sparrows and zebra finches. As in other Kotori Cafes, the incredibly high standards of cleanliness mean that you don't have to worry about any unpleasant birdy messes or smells.

The menu is designed to cater to both tourists from within Japan and foreign visitors, with a variety of light meals and Japanese sweets. A visit to this therapeutic cafe is fun for men and women of all ages!
