Megurine Luka Merchandise

Megurine Luka is a popular Vocaloid created in 2009 by Crypton Future Media Inc. for the Vocaloid2 engine. Given the codename CV03, Megurine Luka is the third in Crypton’s Vocaloid Character Vocal series and is a Character Voice Vocaloid. She is also a bilingual Vocaloid who can sing in both Japanese and English with an original voicebank provided by Japanese actress and singer Yu Asakawa.

Luka’s original illustration by KEI was designed to mimic her bilingual nature through an asymmetrical design, and her costume is inspired by the Yamaha VL1 VL-1 with a deliberately old fashioned look. The design also incorporates woodwind and brass instruments with the blue jewel near her throat representing moisture in the air and water drops. Her most closely associated item is a tuna fish.

A hugely popular Vocaloid star, some of Megurine Luka’s best loved songs include “Double Lariat,” “Circus Monster,” and “RIP=RELEASE.”
