MEIKO is a Japanese Vocaloid who wears her hair in a cute bob, dresses in an eye-catching red outfit, and has a fondness for alcohol. She's often spotted with a bottle of beer or sake in her hand, but thanks to her "big sister" tendencies she'd definitely tell you to drink responsibly!
Super famous Vocaloids like Hatsune Miku might be a little better known than her, but MEIKO is actually the first Japanese Vocaloid and the first female Vocaloid, as well as the first to have an official avatar. MEIKO's voice is provided by the singer-songwriter Meiko Haigo. Although as a Vocaloid MEIKO's voice can be difficult to use well, she excels at an incredible range of music genres.
Many consider her most popular song to be “Evil Food Eater Conchita” (“Akujiki Musume Conchita” in Japanese) by Akuno-P and Ichika.
