Piko Taro no Lullaby Lullaby TV Anime Begins This Summer

PPAP’s Pikotaro is getting his own TV anime!

Created by Piko Taro’s “producer” Kosaka Daimaou, Pikotaro no Lullaby Lullaby will hit Japanese screens this summer. Taniguchi Takashi will direct the three-minute episodes, which are based on fairytales improvised by Pikotaro and inspired by beloved children’s stories from across the world including The Little Match Girl and Little Red Riding Hood among many others.

Pikotaro will play all the characters appearing in the stories himself, marking his first venture into the world of voice acting. Eagle Talon’s DLE will be handling the animation production while director Taniguchi will provide character design.
