If you’ve ever taken a class that mentioned haiku, you probably know that many of these are about seasons! They manage to make you think of blossoming flowers in the spring, somber rains in the summer, and the rich colors of autumn.
Likewise, some anime just feel like their season. It’s hard to watch AnoHana and not think of fun summer vacations from school, or Boku Dake ga Inai Machi ( Erased ) and bitter winters! What anime come to mind when you think of spring, though? Find out if your spring anime made the top ten below!

Even just Sakura’s name makes us think of spring and cherry blossoms! So many shots in the series are of her rollerblading to school on warm days surrounded by sakura trees, and with the anime adaptation of the Clear Card arc on the horizon, it makes sense for this favorite to break into the top three!
2. Clannad
Clannad has a lot of spring imagery, as well, but it feels more like that element and the use of cherry blossoms was to capture how fleeting but great youth can be. This is definitely a great one to capture spring!

We probably should have warned you to have a tissue ready! This beautiful and heartbreaking series was all about how temporary life is, and the importance of enjoying it while you can (just like cherry blossoms!), making it an absolutely perfect title for first place. If Kaori doesn’t exemplify spring, what does?!
