Are Shakashaka Cookies Dessert or a Toy? Who’s to Say!

Some bakers and chefs turn delicious cookies into works of art, but there’s a new trend that turns them into delicious toys: shakashaka cookies. Not sure what a shakashaka cookie is? Watch the clip below (preferably with sound on)!

Similar to stained glass cookies, you start with two cookies that have the middles cut out and filled with crushed candy. You then put little candies like chocolates or dragée in between them and seal the cookies using glue-like icing!
