Prepare yourselves for big news, Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- fans! On Sunday, Feb. 5, Makuhari Messe was home to a special “Hanamaru Biyori!” event, where it was announced that Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- is getting a sequel!

Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- is an anime series based on the PC browser and smartphone game Touken Ranbu -Online-, and it's received rave reviews since it aired from October to December last year.

To celebrate this exciting announcement, character designer Taniguchi Junichiro has created an illustration featuring Yamatonokami Yasusada and Kashuu Kiyomitsu especially for the occasion. All that's left for us to do is admire Taniguchi's heartwarming artwork while we wait to discover what's in store in the Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- sequel! (^ーﾟ)
