■ Ultraman Series 50th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Lineup
Themed around the first Ultraman, these coins have original designs made under the supervision of Tsuburaya Productions. Coin collectors and Ultraman fans alike are sure to love these!

■ Aiding Children through a Charity Auction
Taisei Coins will be having a charity auction from July 10 to the 17 which will be donated to the Ultraman Foundation to aid children. Issue Number Certificates 1 and 78 of the Gold and Silver Coin Complete Sets will be displayed for a charity auction. Susumu Kurobe, famous for having played Hayate who transforms into Ultraman, even autographed the packages!

[Ultraman Foundation]
After the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in March, 2011, Tsuburaya Productions established the Ultraman Foundation with the support of other companies to help those affected by the disaster. The Ultraman Foundation is dedicated to sending children support and supplies, as well as ensuring the quality of their future.

■ Ultraman, the Hero Loved All Around the World
Ultraman, the hero who can turn into a giant, appeared in July of 1966 following Ultra Q as a part of the Ultra series, known for its use of special effects. Centered around the Science Special-Search Party while following its protagonist as he fought new monsters every week, Ultraman fascinated many children. It goes without saying that it had an incredible influence on the Ultraman series which followed, as well as other special effects works, anime, manga, and films.
