Starting June 3, the Japanese convenience store chain Ministop is rolling out its brand new soft serve ice cream flavour for Summer 2016, Cantaloupe Melon Soft Serve Ice Cream (￥220 incl. tax), at its stores across Japan 1. As of April 2016, there are 2,215 Ministop stores in Japan, so if you happen to be in the country this summer there's a good chance you can find one near you!

The soft serve ice cream made using juice from cantaloupe melons grown in Japan, giving it a seriously mouthwatering melon flavour. It contains 38% more fruit juice than the 2013 Ministop Yubari Melon Soft Serve Ice Cream. Ministop's goal was to create an ice cream that brings out the mellow fragrance and sweetness of cantaloupe melon, so that it's almost like eating a real melon - except much more refreshing! From the very first taste, the sumptuously sweet flavour of cantaloupe melon fills your mouth.
