In response to the Snow Brand Hokkaido 100 Sakeru Cheese string cheese peeling challenge, Megmilk Snow Brand Co., Ltd. defiantly announced its own "Guinness World Record Attempt! How Many Strips Can You Peel?! 1 Minute Challenge Tournament," which will take place at the Tokyo Midtown Atrium in Roppongi on June 12.
The event will start with a preliminary contest, in which the 100 lucky winners of the "Guinness World Record Challenger Campaign" lottery go head to head and peel as many string cheese strips as they can. The winners of this initial round will proceed to the final contest, and the ultimate winner who manages to break the current Guinness World Record will receive a Guinness World Record Holder Certificate plus a special gift.
The new Guinness World Record Holder might be feeling pretty pleased with themselves by this point, but they still have a whey to go! The event also features a performance from the incredibly popular idol group Yumemiru Adolescence, and one of these lovely ladies will battle the tournament winner for their Guinness World Record!
So head down to Tokyo Midtown on Sunday, June 19, to enjoy this legen- dairy event - you're sure to have a grate time!
