News from last week's New York Comic-Con 2015 keeps rolling in, as Kotobukiya keeps rolling out statue after mind-blowing statue of some of the hottest properties to date.
To start off, Kotobukiya revealed that it is currently working on a character that is dear to veterans of the Metal Gear Solid series, Sniper Wolf. Sniper Wolf appeared way back in the first Metal Gear Solid game on the Sony Playstation. She was the romantic interest of MGS's most well-known otaku, Otakon.
In this prototype sculpt, Sniper Wolf sports her trademark PSG-1 rifle, a tiny wolfling, and a mischievous smile. She seems to be waiting patiently and confidently for a showdown with the legendary Snake!
Next on the list is a bevy of entries from the ARTFX+ line that pay tribute to the Star Wars universe. Focusing on characters from Episode VII: The Force Awakens, fans will soon be able to get their hands on First Order Stormtroopers coming out December 2015, while BB-8 and Captain Phasma will follow in spring of 2016.
Of course, Marvel fans have been axiously awaiting the release of the alluring and dangerous Lady Deadpool. Lady Deadpool comes with both a masked and unmasked head pieces and holds a live grenade for kicks.
ARTFX+ Spartan Athlon will be out in February 2016, giving Halo gamers a chance to fully dive into the story of Halo 5: Guardians before adorning their shelves with such a gloriously detailed figure. He comes with several removable and interchangable pieces of armor as seen here!
Last but not least, several figures were previewed during Kotobukiya's panel at NYCC, including
