A unique collaboration has been born between Rascal the Raccoon, a masterpiece by Nippon Animation, and the rock band Kishidan. The collaboration is being held in celebration with the Kishidan World Fair 2015 which will be held later this September. The western confectionary shop Club Harie is also participating in the collaboration making it a stunning triple combo collaboration.
The centerpiece of the collaboration is the Rascal Dan Baumkuchen which was brought to life by the baumkuchen mania of Kishidan’s band leader, Show Ayanocozey.
Show had previously declared that the world’s most delicious baumkuchen was Club Harie’s baumkuchen, which helped lead to the debut of the Kishidan x Club Harie Baumkuchen at Kishidan World Fair 2012 which became a huge hit. Now it returns every year and is well-known to fans.
This year, Rascal is being added into the mix! The idea seems to have come from a Rascal stamp the manager of Club Harie used. Show noticed how cute the stamp was and the collaboration was born.
Only 8,000 Rascal Dan Baumkuchen will be sold, each for ¥1,620 (tax included). The package is decorated with an array of Rascals, more precisely Rascal Dans, wearing Kishidan’s clothes. Enclosed with each baumkuchen is an original deluxe earphone jack charm. There are 12 version in total and each package of Rascal Dan Baumkuchen includes one random version so which version fans receive will be a surprise.
The baumkuchen will be sold at the Kishidan World Fair 2015 which will be held on Sept. 19 & 20 and at every Club Harie in Japan with the exception of the Hankyu shop in Umeda. The super cute, first-class troublemaker Rascal is likely to gather tons of attention. We can’t wait to see what kind of collaboration will be thought up next!
