Rebuild of Evangelion Comes to Ichiban Kuji with Exclusive Hidenori Matsubara Illustrated Posters and Figures!

Since it’s start in 2007, the Rebuild of Evangelion series has remained an overwhelmingly popular series. It has spawned varied and numerous collaborative products so far, and has now teamed up with the Ichiban Kuji lottery.

A new Rebuild of Evangelion series product has been announced. The “Ichiban Kuji Rebuild of Evangelion ~Liftoff!~” will soon be available at 7-Eleven stores across Japan. It will be released and on store shelves in mid-November.

Fans are surely wondering about what original goods will be up for grabs. Among the prizes are exclusive illustrated posters and figures. The attractive S-prize is a special art poster that comes in three varieties, each featuring Asuka, Rei, or EVA. Special attention was paid to the printing techniques to make these large A2-size posters truly spectacular. The Asuka and Rei posters were drawn by Hidenori Matsubara of Khara Inc., and the EVA design was done by mecha manga artist Kasahara Tetsuro.

The A-prize Asuka Shikinami Langley figure and B-prize Rei Ayanami figure are both 23-centimeters tall and elaborately detailed. Asuka is wearing her Q plugsuit, and Rei’s melancholy expression has been skillfully recreated. The C-prize is an Angel cushion modelled after the head of the 4th Angel. It’s a cute design, but in a different way than the female character prizes.

And finally, for the D-prizes, there are two different neck towels, and the E-prizes include an assortment of four different glasses. Both of these times are the result of a collaboration with traditional Japanese clothing designer, Rumi Rock. Each is a stylish, Japanese-style expression of the Rebuild of Evangelion universe.

In addition to these prizes, some Chibi-Chara “Puchi-Eva” figures and rubber straps are also available. If you pull the last lottery ticket, you’ll get the Last One Prize: a figure of Asuka wearing her jersey jacket. This Asuka has a certain coolness that sets it apart from the A-prize.

Furthermore, the Double Chance Campaign let’s you apply for a prize with your ticket stub. "Ichiban Kuji Rebuild of Evangelion ~Liftoff!~" costs 620 yen per turn. Limited while supplies last.
