Hatsune Miku “Aerial Concert” Screened on Clouds - An Experiment By Daikin Industries and Team Lab

A Hatsune Miku concert in the sky?! It seems Miku has joined the “Cloud Project,” a project that uses clouds as screens on which to project videos. An experimental video of this has been released on the project’s official YouTube channel.

Miku dances in the sky to Isao Tomita’s “Night on the Galactic Railroad” (part of his Ihatov Symphony). Her figure being projected in the night sky is indeed a marvelous sight. We can’t wait to see how this progresses!

As can be gathered from the project’s title, “Daikin x Hatsune Miku Cloud Project - Aerial Live,” the worldwide air conditioning manufacturer Daikin is also taking part. They are progressing on this project together with Team Lab and in September held a projection test on the Unkai Terrace at Hoshino Resort Tomamu in Hokkaido. Also check out the special site that summarizes the experimental results and shows preliminary videos taken to date.
