Haven't heard of WeLoveFine? Simply put, it is an online shop “For fans by fans.” It is well-loved for its fan-created, officially licensed products that each convey the passion fans have for their chosen fandom. Recently, WeLoveFine held the "Naruto Shippuden Design Contest" for which many incredibly talented fans submitted their T-shirt designs. After a grueling judging process, the winning designs became purchasable T-shirts and the respective artists won prizes and prestige. Until Sept. 3, WeLoveFine is accepting submissions for another design contest: the "Hatsune Miku Fan Design Contest."
TOM isn't just thrilled that this is a Miku-themed contest, but also excited about helping as a judge! The popular retail store Hot Topic, the CEO of Crypton Future Media Hiroyuki Itoh, and artist Zain, who recently illustrated the package art for Hatsune Miku V3 English will also be judging. Furthermore, beginning Sept. 17, fans can help with the judging process by rating submissions via the WeLoveFine site.
A lineup of fantastic prizes have been prepared for the winners, who will be announced on Nov. 5. The grand prize winner will receive a minimum of $1,000, with this amount growing by $1 up to a total of $2,000 for every 100 ratings received after reaching 100,000 ratings! Three Guest Judge Picks and a Hot Topic Pick will also be awarded. Winners of the Guest Judge Picks will receive $400 dollars and the Hatsune Miku V3 English software. The Hot Topic Pick winner will receive $500 and their design will be available exclusively in Hot Topic stores.
