A Peace Eco Smile (PES) event and debut concert was recently held in San Francisco, California, U.S. PES is a collaborative project between Toyota and animation studio Studio 4℃. The event was was held as part of the J-Pop Summit Festival held from July 27-28.
At the exhibit booth, talk shows were held, including one with the famous director Hidekazu Ohara ( Akira, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind ), music clips where streamed, and an autograph event was held. On July 26, the concert was held at the open-air venue, Peace Plaza. Artists included LoVendoЯ and Sweety making their American performance debuts. The artists wore original PES visors to shield themselves from the sun and the audience wore special shirts that were presents from the artists, which made for a feeling of unity within the venue.

“Kono Sekai ni Shinjitsu no Ai ga Hitotsu dake Aru nara”

“My Line”

“My Line,” a song with an intensely bright melody and pop video, makes for a music video with a refreshing tempo.
“Koushin”

Director: Tatsuyuki Tanaka
Vocalist Chiaki Satō’s slow tempo singing and sci-fi fantasy video makes for a mysterious world.
“Lonely Flower”
Artists: Una
Director: Yūta Sano
A beautiful girl is seen running through a world that has been destroyed overlapped with the innocent voice of Una.
“Fortune Future”
Artist: Petit Milady
Director: Yūsuke Tannowa
“Fortune Future” is a moe and bright song with the theme and dimensional mismatch of “a new energy proposal.”
