Valvrave the Liberator will begin airing this April on MBS. Even though the project was only recently announced, it has already gathered a large following. The staff, which includes many well-known creators whose enthusiasm has been seen in other Sunrise works, has been announced, and a key visual presenting the world of the Valvrave the Liberator has also been released.
The director of the anime is Ko Matsuo, who is highly regarded among fans. Other staff members include Ichiro Okochi as series composer, Katsura Hishino, known from his work on D. Gray-man, as character planner, and Tatsuya Suzuki as character designer. The mechanical designers for the anime are Makoto Ishiwata, Naohiro Washio, and Kunio Okawara, who worked on Mobile Suit Gundam. Refined mechanics and intense action are sure to be a highlight of this anime.
The key visual features the main character, Haruto, and the enemy agent, L-elf. Behind the characters, the white and red armored Valvrave can been seen.
An excellent staff has been assembled for this original robot anime from Sunrise. We are sure that many fans are anxiously awaiting April; we know we are!
