New Characters Announced for the Series Miracle Train

Miracle Train started as a web comic and novel in 2009 and went on to become an anime in October of that year. The idea to personify train stations as good looking guys was well supported by females, and at the end of 2010 as well as in April of 2012, the work was made into a stage show. In December 2012, the release of the spinoff work Miracle Train - Sweet Dream Express was announced, and the series is expected to expand even further.

Recently, it has been confirmed that two new characters will join the cast of Miracle Train. First up is Azabujuban Futaba, who has a boyish-looking character design and personifies the Azabujuban station on the Toei Oedo Line. The other character is Akabanebashi Nihito, a cool-looking guy who wears glasses and personifies the Akabanebashi station. The voice actors for these new characters are Hiro Shimono and Yoshimasa Hosoya respectively. Because both voice actors are popular, they are sure to make their characters and the work itself even more popular. On Dec. 28, 2012, character voice CDs for both characters will go on sale for 1,200 yen each.
