The broadcast has begun for the anime Devil Survivor 2 the Animation, which is based on the game from Atlas called Devil Survivor 2. Livetune, a well-known musical unit who uses the Hatsune Miku in their songs, is in charge of the anime’s theme song.
At Livetune’s request, Fukase, a member of the popular rock band Sekai no Owari, was recruited to sing the song’s vocals, and the collaboration unit called “Livetune Adding Fukase (from Sekai no Owari)” was born. The single is planned to release this spring.
Livetune is a trailblazer in the world of artists who use Vocaloid. Their songs that feature Hatsune Miku have made a huge impact online, reaching more than 3.5 million views. Fukase is the vocalist and guitarist in the famous band Sekai no Owari, whose work includes the theme song to the newest movie in the Crayon Shin-chan series. According to Livetune, “There was no one else we could think of [whose voice] better matches the world of Devil Survivor 2” You can hear the song now during the broadcast of Devil Survivor 2 the Animation.
