From Good Smile Company and sculpted by toytec D.T.C comes this Nendoroid of Hatsune Miku wearing a detailed, chibi version of the Korin Kimono designed by the Japanese painter Ogata Korin 300 years ago. The original garment is now under the care of the Tokyo National Museum and National Center for the Promotion of Cultural Properties. A restoration project funded through donations is underway to ensure the cultural property is passed down to future generations. A portion of the sales of this Nendoroid will be donated to the Korin Kimono Restoration Project.
Hatsune Miku stands 3.9" in this elegant, adorable chibi figure form. Her appearance is based on an illustration of her wearing the Korin Kimono by illustrator and character designer En Morikura. The fine paintwork details of the Korin Kimono and its obi have been meticulously done for a beautiful appearance, especially up close. Flowers and ribbon bows adorn her twintails which gracefully curl down to the ground on either side of her. She comes with three cleanly painted face plates (standard, smiling, and closed eyes), a vivid red Japanese umbrella, and a pretty Chinese bellflower to hold.
