Raijin is the Japanese god of thunder and lightning, and Fujin is the god of wind. This makes them incredibly significant figures when it comes to the weather, and as such, they’re highly revered and appear depicted as statues all over Japan. These deities were chosen as the inspiration for these figures of Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki based on their appearances in Naruto Shippuden.
The color schemes for each character were carefully honored including bright orange for Naruto and rich purple and blue for Sasuke, and while figures of them typically depict them viciously sparring, each has a smile on their face, giving them a more warm-spirited air than usual. Most significant are the overall designs of each. They’re faithful restorations of actual statues of each deity including both the ring and scarf around Sasuke (and his pose!) and the bag of wind Naruto is featured with.
This set of both also comes with two specially designed illustrations based on the figures that would be equally great for display, and the figures themselves are 7.1” tall.
