Stark’s new armor from the movie Iron Man 3, the Mark 42, has been added to the ArtFX kit series. Not only is he striking a dynamic pose on top of water that screams Iron Man, the statue has been painstakingly sculpted to capture the shape and coloring of the suit exactly as it appears in the movie. On top of this, this statue holds a few surprises. First, the eyes, arc reactor, and the repulsor on the palms of his hands light up using LEDs. Also, the statue has a built-in voice sensor, so shouting something like “Save Me!” will result in the sound of his hands clanging together followed by the aforementioned points lighting up. Great for those new to kit building, this kit comes pre-painted, only takes about 15 minutes to complete, and only requires some light assembly as opposed to a full-blown, unpainted figure kit.
