Personal Thoughts

While this isn’t my normal anime genre of choice, “In Another World with My Smartphone” feels like a fun, comedic breath of fresh air with a nice premise. I recommend watching the PV’s to make your own decision and to see what separates it from the other series in this genre. But overall, I walked away positive and willing to give it a chance. Let’s face it, I’ll watch anything with cute little tigers, haha.

Touya Mochizuki

He’s our main character that has arrived in a different world. Generally, he’s a kind and polite person, but he won’t hesitate to step in if the people he cares about are close to danger.

Elze Silhoueska

She’s an adventurer who wields dual gauntlets. Elze prefers action over using words and is the type who is quick to react rather than talk about it. Linze is her older twin.

Linze Silhoueska

In the midst of being deceived by her younger sister, Linze is saved by Touya while in town. She’s usually reserved and shy, but there are times she shows her strength. Elze is her younger twin.

Yae Kokonoe

Yae is a wander and daughter of a samurai, and she’s traveled from the far east land of Ishen in order to train. Yae takes her training seriously and gives it her all. She also a big eater.

Yumina Urnea Belfast

Princess of the Belfast kingdom, she’s well mannered and very much a princess. However, Yumina is bold and is currently adventuring with Touya as his fiancee.

Sushie Urnea Ortlinde

She’s Duke Ortlinde’s only daughter, and Sushie is rescued by Touya while being attacked by a lizardman.

While she may look very young, Leen has lived for a long time and is the chief for a tribe of fairies. She’s claims to be 612 years old, and she’s a genius when it comes to using magic. Leen likes making fun of others and has mastered all six elemental magics, except black magic.

Kohaku is summoned by Touya as his beast companion. He is king of the beasts and protector of the great path, as well as the eastern side. Kohaku usually keeps his appearnce as that of a child tiger so he doesn’t stand out and let others know he is one of the heavenly beasts.
