Pokémon has announced that two new titles, Pokémon: Let’s GO, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s GO, Eevee!, will debut on Nov. 16, 2018.

A new trailer dropped alongside the announcement to give fans a few sneak peeks at what they can expect. This time around, Pokémon is going back to their roots, as the games take place in the Kanto region. It will also have functionality with the popular mobile game Pokémon GO.
There are plenty of features to look forward to, such as local co-op, a new capture system similar to Pokémon GO, the ability to ride on and travel beside any of your Pokémon, and more!
Fans will also be able to play the games with a special Pokéball joy-con that will also make its debut. Aside from looking awesome, it will have the ability to store a Pokémon to interact with while you’re out and about.
Finally, for those who were hoping for an announcement of a core title for Switch, Pokémon announced that that a new entry will be released in 2019.
Fans who can't wait can first try their hand at free-to-start game Pokémon Quest, now available for download on the Nintendo dShop.
