Asagiri Kafka and Harukawa Sango's manga Bungo Stray Dogs is heading to the big screen from Mar. 3 as Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, a completely new story.
Six years after the Dragon’s Head dispute, over 500 Ability users worldwide have committed suicide in a phenomenon the Special Abilities Department in the Ministry of Home Affairs has dubbed “Serial Suicides of Special Ability Users”. The Armed Detective Agency is hot on the trail of suspect Shibusawa Tatsuhiko but detective Dazai Osamu has gone missing.

The theatrical movie will feature the same cast as the TV anime including Uemura Yuto as Nakajima Atsushi, Miyano Mamoru as Dazai Osamu, Ono Kensho as Akutagawa Ryunosuke, and Taniyama Kisho as Nakahara Chuya.
Igarashi Tatsuya will direct with Enokido Yoji handling scripts, Arai Nobuhiro handling character design and animation direction, and Bones producing.
Granrodeo will perform the movie’s opening song, “Drive”, while Luck Life will provide the ending theme, “Bokura.”
Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead Apple will premiere in Japanese cinemas on Mar. 3, 2018.
