As a part of a new experiment, One Piece is going to have its very first YouTube program! Yamaguchi Kappei (Usopp) will be the MC, and he’ll be hosting guests Tanaka Mayumi (Luffy) and Hirata Hiroaki (Sanji). It's set to be streamed for the 3 nights before the “Luffy VS Sanji” fall 1-hour special (the Whole Cake Island Arc's climax) airs with a live countdown stream on Oct. 1.
The broadcast will be called “Usopp’s ‘This is the Truth!’ in Youtube,” and it airs at 6:00 pm on Sept. 28-30. In addition to the cast talking about highlights of the 1-hour special, there will also be a small section where they’ll give a simple explanation of the Whole Cake Island Arc until this point, so even people who haven’t been watching the arc until now will be able to enjoy the Luffy vs Sanji story!
There will also be a stream before and after the special on Oct. 1. The anime staff and Weekly Shonen Jump editor will join in between 8 and 9 o’clock for part one to get fans pumped for the special. After the show, inside gossip and production art will also be revealed, making it a must-see for One Piece fans!
