Nyanko-sensei has mysteriously split into three in a new commercial for Natsume’s Book of Friends the Movie: Tied to the Temporal World!

Based on the original manga Natsume's Book of Friends by Midorikawa Yuki, the series has had six anime seasons. Tied to the Temporal World will be its first ever feature length film with an entirely new plot by Midorikawa herself.

While the quirky commercial contains no dialogue from the film, it's clear that Natsume is just as taken aback as the fans to see triple Nyanko-sensei. Aside from the three adorable little Nyanko-sensei, Natsume is also seen interacting with a few "friends".
