Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc begins airing in January of 2018. The franchise’s latest instalment will welcome back a familiar voice with veteran voice actress Sakamoto Maaya returning to sing the opening theme song 20 years after scoring a hit with the series’ third OP “Platinum”.
The new song, “Clear”, is composed by Mizuno Yoshiki of legendary Japanese band, Ikimono-gakari.
The song’s lyrics are penned by Sakamoto herself with the arrangement handled by Shin Kono. Not only is Cardcaptor Sakura making a long awaited return to television screens, but Sakamoto Maaya is coming with it and fans couldn’t be more excited!
Card Captor Sakura begins broadcasting in January 2018.
