Nagai Go's Mazinger Z Releases New Visual and Release Date!

Further details on the upcoming animated film Mazinger Z was just released!

The revival of the old school mecha series was announced last month at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France. Creator Nagai Go attended and was ecstatic to announce the update 45 years after the series was first serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump back in 1972.

Mazinger Z will premiere in both Japan, Europe, and elsewhere on Jan. 13, 2018. It was also announced that events commemorating the anniversary of the series are in the works, so it looks like 2017 is the start of something wonderful for fans who have been patiently waiting!
