Black Clover, a popular manga by Tanada Yuki, is receiving a TV anime adaptation from Studio Pierrot set for broadcast this summer and has just released its first teaser visual.
The manga is set in a world in which using magic is commonplace and follows the adventures of two orphans - Asta and Yuno, both of whom are featured in the new teaser.
Although concrete broadcast times and cast details have not yet been released, the creative team boasts a number of well known names including the director Yoshihara Tatsuya ( Yatterman Night, Monster Musume), JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure's Fudeyasu Kazuyuki on series composition, Level E’s Takeuchi Itsuko on character design, and Studio Pierrot handling production.
Further information is expected to be announced at the Jump Victory Carnival 2017 which takes place between July 22 and 29.
