Dies irae Airing This Year! Teaser Visual & Main Staff Also Revealed

Dies irae earned around 9.6 million yen in two months for an anime adaptation back in 2015, and it’s finally going to air this year! Along with the announcement of the upcoming release, a teaser visual was revealed featuring Fujii Ren and Marie.

The original game is a romantic battle adventure game set in the fictional city of Suwaharashi. It follows the struggles of people using magical holy relics from Nazi Germany. It was produced by light with scenarios and music by Masada Takashi and Yonao Keishi, and G Yuusuke worked on the art.

This adaptation will be directed by Kudo Susumu ( Mardock Scramble, Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club ). Masada Takashi will be brought for the series composition and script, and ACGT ( Freezing, Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de, Monochrome Factor ) will be animating.

The main cast has also been announced! Fujii Ren will be played by Toriumi Kousuke and Marie by Sakakibara Yui, Ayase Kasumi will be played by Fukuhara Ayaka, Himuro Rea by Nabatame Hitomi, Yusa Shiro by Maeda Takeshi, Honjou Uerii by Makino Yoshina, Reinhard Heydrich by Suwabe Shinichi, Valeria Trifa by Narita Ken, and Wilhelm Ehrenburg by Taniyama Kisho.
